Abstract
PURPOSE:To reproduce an original signal with fidelity when a horizontal scanning frequency is converted, by converting the horizontal scanning frequency into n-times of the said frequency and superimposing the 2m-th scanning line on the 2m-1 th scanning line, thus achieving scanning and conversion. CONSTITUTION:A demodulation signal of a video signal of the standard system outputted from a demodulation circuit 2 enters a signal conversion circuit 3 and is converted into double speed. The horizontal synchronizing signal formed at the circuit 2 is applied to a multiplier 5 and a waveform generating circuit 7, and the vertical synchronizing signal is applied to a vertical deflection circuit 8. The multiplier 5 converts the horizontal synchronizing signal into double frequency and supplies it to a horizontal deflection circuit 6. On the other hand, a circuit 7 generates a pulse voltage in synchronizing with the horizontal synchronizing signal, this pulse voltage is applied to the circuit 8 and superimposed on the certical deflection signal. In this case, the amplitude of the superimposed pulse voltage is adjusted so as to overlap the 2m th scanning line on the (2m-1) th (where; m is an integer 1 or more) scanning line. Thus, the original signal is reproduced with fidelity, and bright screen is realized.
