Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to make a horizontal scanning frequency n-times, in keeping the jumping scanning relation of a reception signal, by providing a means which adjusts scanning interval arbitarily, in a TV receiver which converts the horizontal scanning period into that of 1/n for display. CONSTITUTION:A synchronizing separation circuit 5 separates a synchronizing signal obtained from a demodulation circuit 2 into a vertical synchronizing signal and a horizontal synchronizing signal, and the former is applied to a vertical deflection circuit 6 and the latter is given to a multiplication circuit 7 and a signal generating circuit 9. The circuit 9 generates a pulse voltage of 50% duty cycle from the horizontal synchronizing singal. An amplitude generating circuit 10 adjusts this pulse voltage and supplies it to a superimposing circuit 12. On the other hand, a convergence signal generating circuit 11 produces a signal for convergence and supplies it to the circuit 12. In this case, the circuit 10 selects the polarity of the pulse voltage to a polarity giving opposite deflection to the vertical scanning signal, and supplies it to the circuit 12 after adjusting the amplitude of pulse voltage to an amplitude necessary to move the scanning line by 1/2 of the scanning line interval.
