PURPOSE:To lighten the load of an operator, and to print a document continously, by providing a means for generating a continuous printing information which designates a document to be printed next, after one document has been printed, and reading out in order plual documents from a document storage part in accordance with said information. CONSTITUTION:A keyboard 1 for inputting a document and various functions, a display part 10 and a printer 7 ar provided on a document preparing device, and a document is preparee by a document preparation control part 3 and a document selection contro part 4, etc., displaying a character from the keyboard 1, on the display part 10. This prepared document is stored in a document storage part 12 under control of a document memory control part 11. On each document stored in this storage part 12, a header having a continous printing control information field is provided in advance, and when a continuous printing instruction is given from the keyboard 1, it is displayed on the display part 10, and also the head of the storage part 12 is provided to a printing control part 5. Subsequently, when a printing command has been inputted to the control part 5, plural documents are read out in order from the storage part 12, and the continuous printing is executed.
