NH4 salt of acrylic acid or the like. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer is prepared by substituting NH4 for 50-100mol% COOH un a copolymer contg. 6-50wt% of >=1 kinds of unsatd. acid selected from acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, maleic acid and itaconic acid, 10-70wt% 2-10C alkyl acrylate, etc. for enhancing adhesion to a photosensitive layer and 2-80wt% styrene, etc. for providing pressure resistance. An aqueous soln. of the copolymer or a dispersion prepared by dispersing a filler such as SiO2 in the copolymer soln. is sprayed on a photosensitive layer laid on the surface of an Al plate or the like to form a coated layer having 1-20mum height, 20-200mum size and 1-1,000/mm.. An original can be correctly brought into close contact with the resulting photosensitive printing plate in a short time to give a superior printing plate.
