Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid a color shift phenomenon, by detecting only a contour signal in the vertical direction based on a difference between the green signal of a wide band and the green signal of a narrow band and then controlling the subcarrier signal that is modulated by a rectified signal of the said contour signal. CONSTITUTION:Both the green signal GW of a wide band and the green signal of a narrow band sent from a low pass filter 19 are applied to a subtracting circuit 16, and the green signal GH of a high band is obtained from a difference between the above-mentioned two green signals. The signal GH is made to pass through a low pass filter 61 to be turned into the contour signal GHL of vertical direction. The signal GHL receives a full-wave rectification and a waveform shaping through an absolute value converting circuit 62 and a waveform shaping circuit 63 to be changed into a control signal of a color encoder 28'. On the other hand, the green, red and blue signals of a low band that are supplied from process amplifiers 20, 25 and 27 respectively are supplied to a matrix circuit 51 to receive a synthesization of luminance signals, and at the same time modulated by modulators 52 and 54 to be synthesized into a chrominance signal after mixed up through a mixer 56. This chrominance signal receives a reduction at its vertical contour part by tbe control signal by an amplitude control circuit 64 to be sent into a mixer 58 to be mixed with the luminance signal and then outputted in the form of a color TV signal.
