Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to have sure synchronism on any video signal, by synchronizing with an identified data synchronizing signal via a horizontal synchronizing signal at the data pausing period and via a window signal at the data period. CONSTITUTION:In transmitting and processing a PCM signal in TV signal, at a data pausing period, a horizontal synchronizing signal is detected at a video synchronizing signal detecting means 4 by using a composite synchronizing signal from a terminal 2 and a control signal from a terminal 5, and an output is made from a terminal 7 via a gate means 6 after a delay of a given time. On the other hand, at a data period, a window signal having a given width in synchronizing with a horizontal synchronizing signal is formed, and it is applied to a gate means 6 after a delay of a given time, and a data synchronizing signal DS is detected by using a data signal from a terminal 1 with a data synchronizing means 3 and it is applied to the gate means 6. Thus, the data synchronizing signal within the width of the window signal is obtained from the terminal 7. Thus, signal processing with high reliability without malfunction is made by distinguishing the synchronism from each period.
