CONSTITUTION:A channel selector of a TV receiver with an automatic skip function is provided with a means which operates a gain control signal superimposing circuit superimposing a defeat signal produced from a channel selection circuit on a gain control signal outputted from a video IF circuit. For example, when a defeat signal produced at skip channel selection is applied to a gain control signal superimposing circuit, a voltage divided with a semifixed resistor 63 and a resistor 64 is applied to an electronic tuner 1 via a diode 62. The AGC voltage of the videl IF circuit for skip channel selection is low, a diode 62 is cut off and the electronic tuner 1 avoids various interference electromagnetic waves from being obtained for sufficient gain.
