Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the reliability of a callout signal transmission switch, by economizing the system through the commonly installed callout response detection circuit and reducing circuit noise through the periodical transmission control of a callout signal for the zero phase of voltage and current. CONSTITUTION:A subscriber circuit control circuit (not shown) writes a callout signal transmission instruction to a control information storage register CREG according to the intermission. A callout response detection control circuit RTCTL provided corresponding to a subscriber drives a callout signal transmission relay RNG via a callout signal transmission control flip-flop RNGF with a signal from a zero phase detection circuit RCD and the information in the said CREG and transmits a callout signal 10 to a called party SUB. A response detection circuit RT commonly provided with a callout signal line resets the RNGF of all the RTCTLs during the callout operation for a prescribed time when one of a number of called parties during callout responds, and interrupts the transmission of the callout signal. During that time, a communication current supply/loop monitor circuit BS transmits the responded called party information to a monitor circuit.
