Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the satellite data transmission high-efficiency, by transmitting information from each of plural stations as the PSK modulation signal wave of a different carrier and returning this PSK modulation wave from a specific station to plural stations as a time division PSK modulation wave. CONSTITUTION:An optional earth small station 1-K subjects the carrier of a satellite channel frequency for SCPC, which is assigned to the station 1-K itself, to PSK modulation and transmits data packets to a communication satellite 2. The communication satellite 2 returns data packets transmitted from each earth small station to an earth large station 3 through a down link. In the earth large station 3, data packets transmitted from small stations at random are stored temporarily in a packet storage processing part 33 and are read out successively in the order of arrival and are transmitted to earth small stations through the satellite 2 as data packets of time division PSK modulation waves which do not overlap one another in respect to time.
