Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the number of transmission lines and to simplify wiring work, by transmitting a video signal from a terminal device to a main controller through the use of a synchronizing signal fed from a main controller. CONSTITUTION:A main controller 1 is connected commonly to a plurality of terminal devices 3, 4 via two transmission lines 2. The main controller 1 is provided with a television picture means, e.g., a cathode ray tube 5, and on a screen of the cathode ray time 5, picture from image pickup means 6, 7 provided with the terminal devices 3, 4 is displayed. When a synchronizing signal generated from the device 1 is given to the terminal devices 3, 4 via transmission line 2, the terminal device uses this synchronizing signal to transmit the video signal to the device 1 via the transmission line 2. Thus, a plurality of terminal device is provided for the two transmission lines 2, allowing to simplify the wiring work.
