Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the adjustment for horizontal synchronizing unnecessary when an adapter for receiving of a multiplex broadcast is connected to any receiver, by processing and displaying the output of a video detection signal by this adapter and by snchronizing the horizontal synchronizing circuit of the receiver with horizontal pulses of the adapter. CONSTITUTION:The output of a video detection signal is processed by an adapter for receiving of a multiplex broadcast and is displayed on a display device, and the output of an oscillator 152 of this adapter is sent to a horizontal deflecting circuit 6 of the receiver through a plug 10. The AFC system and the synchronization between the raster and the character screen are common respectively to prevent gate pulses from beibg influenced by the receiver. Thus, the adjustment for horizontal synchronizing is unnecessary when the adapter for receiving of a multiplex broadcast such as receiving of characters is connected to any receiver.
