Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to receive an incoming signal at a designated telephone set by an origninating connection system of a private electronic switchboard, by dialing only an abbreviated number of a subscriber who has sent a signal with a push-button dial telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When a signal is sent out of push-button dial telephone set SUB without pushing buttons, CPUCC detects the loop of subscriber's circuit LC via subscriber's scanner LSCN and reads subscriber's information out of memory unit MEM to know that the calling subscriber has sent the signal from push-button dial telephone set SUB. Then, CPUCC reads the nondepression of buttons via scanner LSCN and stores the information in memory unit MEM. The calling subscriber of push-button dial telephone set SUB, after confirming a dial tone, dials an abbreviated number and then CPUCC stores it in memory unit MEM and determines a number analysis table on the basis of the extension class of subscriber's information corresponding to the equipment position of the calling subscriber and the previously stored button information. Consequently, the incoming telephone number is found by the received abbreviated number and incoming processing is performed.
