Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a circulating pump and to enable storing of a required amount of hot water using a simple-structured device, by a method wherein hot water from a natural circulating system hot water storage collector is heated to a given temperature by means of a hot water storage type water heating device. CONSTITUTION:A natural circulating system hot water storage collector 2, which is provided with a collector 4 for absorbing solar heat, and a hot water storage tank having a ball tap above the collector 4, is located, and water is fed thereinto through a water supply pipe 6. A supply pipe 8 for feeding hot water to a hot water storage type water heating device 3 is attached to the hot water storage tank 5 so that hot water of highest temperature in the tank 5 can be fed to the water heating device 3. A hot water detector (not shown) located in the water heating device 3 detects the temperaure of hot water fed through the supply pipe 8. Where a detected temperature is lower than a given temperature, hot water is heated to the given temperature by means of a burner (not shown). This eliminates a circulating pump and also permits the constant supply of hot water having a constant temperature.
