Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a constant level for a reproduced carrier chrominance signal although a relative mechanical fluctuation exists to a recording medium such as a magnetic tape, etc., by controlling the gain of a variable gain circuit that is put into the transmission system based on the level detection output of an ACC control signal and a reproduced high frequency signal each. CONSTITUTION:In the transmission system of the carrier chrominance signal, a variable gain circuit 8 is put in between an LPF3 and a frequency reverse converting circuit 9. The ACC control signal supplied from a control signal generating circuit 21 comprising a burst gate circuit 10 and an AM wave detecting circuit 14 is supplied to the circuit 8. On the other hand, a luminance signal to be FM-modulated supplied from an HPF2 is supplied to a potentiometer 18 after an envelope curve wave detection 23. Thus the level of the luminance signal is made variable. The detection output of a level detecting circuit 22 which is obtained by supplying the output of the potentiometer 18 to the base of a transistor 17 is superposed on the ACC control signal to obtain the gain control signal of the circuit 8.
