Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a circuit small, by using an element which drops the voltage without changing a circuit impedance in a DC loop of two-line transmission line, in a communication system superimposing pulse signals on a power supply current from a master to slave devices. CONSTITUTION:The power supply voltage of a power supply device 1 of the master device is sufficiently higher than the breakdown voltage of Zener diodes 111-212 of pulse transmission circuits 11, 21 and pulse reception circuits 12, 22, the Zener diodes are ON even if photocouplers 113-214 are all OFF, and the power supply current is fed to the power supply regulator 2 at the terminal.
