Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a channel continuity test without increasing the delay time of the channel bus, by connecting the continuity of the channel bus caught beforehand for an incoming call through a subscriber circuit and the time-division channel and by means of the test relay contact pair and the ringing signal contact pair which are distributed correspondence to the subscriber. CONSTITUTION:Two test relay contact pairs 5 and 6 plus two ringing signal contact pair 7 and 8 are distributed to the subscriber circuits 3 and 4 connected to the time- division channel 1. Then the telephone current supply device 9, ringing signal transmitting device 10, analog signal transmitting device 11 and analog signal receiving device each are provided in common to the circuits 3 and 4. The device 9 is connected to the subscriber by one of the contact pair 5 and 6 and against the calling side, and at the same time the device 11 or 12 is connected to the subscriber by the other side of the pair 5 and 6. On the other hand, the device 10 is connected to the incoming side via one of the contact pair 7 and 8, and the device 11 or 12 is connected via the other side of the pair 7 and 8 respectively. Thus the channel bus continuity can be tested while the incoming subscriber is being called and without increasing the delay time for connection.
