Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to easily expand a sound field in case the space of speakers is narrow, by providing a specified filter on both the main signal system and the sub- signal system of each channel, respectively, compounding those outputs, and obtaining an output signal of each channel. CONSTITUTION:The stereophonic signals L, R of 2-channels are made to branch to the main signal system M and the sub-signal system S, respectively, the output of the sub-signal system S is compounded with the output of the main signal system M of the other channel, and it is made an output signal to the speaker of each channel. An all band-pass filter 13 whose phase only is varied in accordance with the frequency is provided on the system M, and a low-pass or band-pass filter 14 containing the frequency band of 500-2,000Hz, and an all band-pass filter 13 are provided on the system S. The filter 14 of the system S, among said filters must have an attenuation function for deciding the amplitude ratio of a crosstalk component, and the filter 13 of the system M must have a function for getting rid of the phase difference between the output of said filter 14 and that of the filter 13 of the system M by componsating a variation of phase by the filter 14 of the system S.
