Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the subject device wherein the direction where a liquid to be supplied flows into a heat operating section and the direction where the liquid flows out from the heat operating section to the orifice are bent and the heat generating surface of the heat generator is directed toward the orifice thereby to improve the exhaust effeciency and exhaust response. CONSTITUTION:The direction where a liquid 3 flows from a supply flowpath 6 in a heat operating scetion 5 and the direction where the liquid flows out of the heat operating section 5 toward the orifice 2 are deflected mutually at an angle theta. Furthermore, the heat generating surface of a heat generator 4 is directed in the direction of the exhaust orifice 2. For instance, when a signal is sent to the heat generator 4, the heat henerator 4 generates heat instantaneously and thermal energy is acted upon the liquid within the heat operating section 5. By the volume expansion of the liquid, the liquid is exhausted through the exhaust orifice 2. EFFECT:Excellent in long-time continuous recording property.
