Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the storage capacity of an ROM used for the control of an engine, by such a constitution that one map is used in common for data regions capable of being in common use in different states of operation.
CONSTITUTION: An output 24A from a heat generating unit 24 that detects an amount of suction air and output 56A of a sensor 56 that detects cooling water of an engine are input to a CPU108 through an A/D converter 102 and input/output interface circuit 114. While a signal from a switch 104 for showing fully closing states of a throttle valve is input to the CPU108. Further an output of a crank angle sensor 106 is input to the CPU108. In the CPU108, one map is used in common for data regions where the map can be applied in common use for the engine control in its different operational state.
