PURPOSE:To couple an optical fiber and a photoreceiving unit effectively without involving a troublesome opration for adjustment by fitting a convexity in a concavity and fixing the optical fiber in a groove. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceiving unit 2 in which a photoelectric conversion function is incorporated and a V-groove 4 provided linearly toward the photoreceiving unit are formed on an Si substrate 1.
