Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of optical coupling by providing an optical-path flexing means in an incidence or emission optical path to or from an optical condensation system. CONSTITUTION:A photocoupler 6 and an IC for optical reception are provided, and a light emitted from an optical fiber 8 passes through the glass window 11 of the IC7 for optical reception by flexing its optical path through an optical condensation system, e.g., a prism 10, and is then focused on a photodetecting element 12. Then, the IC7 is connected to the photocoupler 6, for example, by fixing with a fitting nut.
