Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to display a picture on the X-Y monitor and the TV monitor simultaneously by using commonly one-screen components of memory to select arbitrarily either the real-time picture or the freezing picture when the B mode image is displayed. CONSTITUTION:In the real-time display mode, switch SW1 is switched to the a side, and ultrasonic echo signal AE becomes output OZ1 as the Z signal to the X-Y monitor as it is. In respect to the TV monitor, ultrasonic echo signal AE is stored in memory 2 through A/D converter 1 and write buffers 5-1 and 5-2 and is further converted to analogue data through read buffers 6-1 and 6-2 and D/A converter 3-2, and Z signal OZ2 for the TV monitor outputted. In the freezing display mode, switch SW1 is switched to the b side, and Z signal OZ1 for the X-Y monitor and Z signal OZ2 for the TV monitor are obtained.
