Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, by transmitting the optical signal multiplexing two or more wave lengths into the thin film Fabry-Pe rot rot type optical band pass filter and changing the incident angle of optical signal to select the optical signal. CONSTITUTION:Different video signals CH1-CH4 are respectively applied to the electric-photo converters 1-4 of the transmitter 31, the signals CH1-CH4 are converted into optical signal and fed to the photo synthesizer 5 to multiplex the wave length of optical signal. This optical signal in wave length multiplex is transmitted to the receiver 32 via the optical fiber L, and wave length selection is made by giving it to the thin film Fabry-Pe rot type BPF6, it is converted into electric signal at the photo-electric converter 8 to picture the desired program on TV. The BPF is controlled with the output of the drive control circuit 7 to change the center wave length under passing incident to BPF6 and the power consumption can be reduced with the output of the band of passing center wave length desired.
