Abstract

PURPOSE: To make easy the replacement and adjustment of CRT, by supplying current flowing to the direction cancelling the vertical component of earth magnetisum from the DC bias source to a pair of coils and giving the attenuated oscillation current for shadow mask demagnetization from the AC bias source.
CONSTITUTION: The current causing the magnetic field HC to the direction cancelling the vertical component HV of the earth magnetism is fed to a pair of coils 4 and 5 located up and down the CRT3 from the DC bias source 6. On the other hand, the attenuated oscillation current for demagnetizing the shadow mask of CRT3 magnetized with the earth magnetism or any other magnetic substance flows to a pair of coils 4 and 5 from the AC bias source 7. Thus, the de-gauss case made of iron is made unnecessary and the replacement work of CRT3 is made easier.
