Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a miniature packing by supporting and fixing the piezoelectric oscillator with use of the back of the IC chip which is fixed via the face-down method. CONSTITUTION:IC chip 9 is pressure-bonded to substrate 10 with the element surface put down, thus omitting the connection. Then tunin fork type crystal oscillator 11 is sticked directly to the back of IC9 via the adhesive with connection 12. In this way, the package is simplified with storage into a case made possible, thus reducing the cost.
