Abstract

PURPOSE: To stably perform thermal gain supply by regulating heat recuperatory amount in a heat exchanger within a broad range in such a way that exhaust stepped out of the heat exhanger is mixed into cooling gas through a flow regulator.
CONSTITUTION: Cooling air comes through a blower 1 into an air duct 2, an air box 3 for cooling sintered lump 5, which is brought into forming high temperature gas and expelled through an exhaust cylinder 6 into atmosphere. Part of the exhaust is recuperated through an air duct 7 passing through a heat exchanger 8 until it is expelled through a blower 9, a funnel 13 into atmosphere. In this case, an air duct 10 on the outlet port side of the blower 9 is connected through a damper 15, an air duct 16 to the air duct 2 on the outlet port side of the blower 1, so that part of the exhaust is sent to the air box 3, which is mixed with cool air to bring air temperature up and down, giving changes to high temperature of the exhaust temperature after passing the sintered lump 5, to regulate the heat recuperatory amount of the heat exchanger.
