2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, many materials having a nonwoven fabric as a base material have been provided for use in cleaning articles.
For example, a cleaning material made of a nonwoven fabric is used. The wiping material is required to have a dust collecting property for absorbing and removing dust on the surface to be cleaned, a dust retaining property for holding the collected dust, and a property for preventing the surface to be cleaned from being damaged. For this reason, the wiping material is required to have a relatively small fiber diameter and a small gap between fibers in order to wipe out small dust. On the other hand, the degree of freedom of the fiber to entangle and hold large dust is required. However, a material having practical strength is required.

In recent years, it has been proposed to use a soft and bulky nonwoven fabric as a wiping material in order to improve the performance such as the dust collecting property, the dust retaining property and the scratch preventing property of the cleaning surface. For example, a nonwoven fabric having naps formed by cutting fiber filaments (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-124122), a nonwoven fabric aggregate entangled on one or both sides of a mesh sheet (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-124122). No. 192285) has been proposed.

However, in the case of brushing by post-processing of a general non-woven fabric such as a non-woven fabric having raised hair, a special facility for raising the brush is required, so that the production cost is increased and the strength is reduced. A large amount of non-woven fabric must be used in order to increase the bulk while maintaining it, and since the fibers are densely arranged and the fibers in the inner layer do not contact the surface to be cleaned, the use of non-woven fabric as a base material is There are problems such as low efficiency. On the other hand, in the case where the fiber aggregate is entangled with the mesh sheet, there is a problem that the production cost is increased because a compounding step of the mesh sheet and the fiber assembly and a heat treatment step are required.

[0009] The nonwoven fabric of the present invention is based on a spunbonded nonwoven fabric. In the present invention, as the thermoplastic resin used as a material of the spunbond nonwoven fabric,
Examples thereof include polyolefins such as polyethylene, polypropylene and polybutene, polyester, nylon and polystyrene. Among them, polypropylene which is easily available and has good spinnability is more preferable. Polyolefins such as polyethylene and polypropylene may be produced by a polymerization method using a conventional catalyst such as a Ziegler catalyst, but those produced by a polymerization method using a single-site catalyst represented by a metallocene catalyst are preferred. In addition to reducing production costs due to better spinnability, the fiber diameter can be made smaller, the rigidity of the resulting spunbonded nonwoven fabric can be reduced, and the strength of the nonwoven fabric of the present invention can be increased. Can be. The spunbonded nonwoven fabric is formed by forming continuous filaments from these materials and forming a layer with these continuous filaments. This layer is 1
The number of layers is not limited to two or more. Further, in a spunbonded nonwoven fabric composed of a plurality of layers, the material of each layer may be different. Further, even if the fibers forming the spunbonded nonwoven fabric are fibers made of a single thermoplastic resin, core / sheath structured fibers made of two or more thermoplastic resins having different melting points, or side-by-side type fibers It may be a fiber having a composite structure, and also has a structure such as a split-type fiber having a form in which a plurality of wedge-shaped portions composed of two or more resin components are radially arranged in a fiber cross section. Is also good. As a method for producing the spunbonded nonwoven fabric, a known method can be used as it is, and therefore, the detailed description thereof is omitted.

The short fiber material used in the present invention includes polyolefins such as polypropylene and polyethylene,
Examples thereof include synthetic resins such as polyester and polyamide, and natural fibers such as rayon and cotton. The constituent fibers of the short-fiber nonwoven fabric are made of one or a combination of two or more of these materials. Among these, polyester is preferable because it is easy to obtain bulkiness and flexibility. The average length of these constituent fibers is usually 25 to 100 mm, preferably 35 to 75 mm, and the fineness is usually preferably in the range of 1 d to 15 d. Those in the range are preferred. The short fibers composed of such constituent fibers may be laminated on the spunbonded nonwoven fabric as short fibers, that is, as a web on which the short fibers are deposited, but the web is bonded by heat or other physical or chemical methods. The spunbonded nonwoven fabric may be laminated on the spunbonded nonwoven fabric and entangled. When short fibers are used in addition to the spunbonded nonwoven fabric, a loop that can ensure desired dust collecting properties, adsorption properties, and holding properties can be formed by a simple process.

In the production of the nonwoven fabric of the present invention, a nonwoven fabric web made of substantially continuous continuous fibers formed by a spunbonding method is used, the continuous continuous fibers are partially thermally bonded, and the short fiber web is formed by a card method. It can be performed according to a method of forming by a general dry method such as the above, laminating with the spunbonded nonwoven fabric, and then entangled by needle punching or hydroentanglement. Since the nonwoven fabric of the present invention can be manufactured by a needle punching process or a hydroentanglement method, the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Further, according to the needle punching process or the hydroentanglement method, the entanglement can be performed without impairing the bulkiness. There is no particular limitation on the method of partially thermally joining the continuous continuous fibers, and a conventional method such as heating with a hot roll or ultrasonic fusion may be used. The short fiber web is preliminarily bonded by an arbitrary method such as heat fusion or chemical bonding to form a nonwoven fabric, as long as the bulkiness and the confounding property with the spunbonded nonwoven fabric are not impaired. Is also good.

[0028] Dust collection amount In a range of 240 mm x 240 mm on the flooring plate,
As the test dust, 1.7 g of eight kinds of dust described in JIS Z 8901-1984 (test dust) was uniformly dispersed on the surface. Next, on the bottom of a jig (total weight: 320 g), which has a handle attached to a 5 cm x 20 cm x 3 mm iron plate,
A nonwoven fabric test piece cut into a size of cm × 20 cm was fixed. The jig is placed on the flooring plate on which the dust is sprayed, and while the nonwoven fabric test piece is in contact with the surface of the flooring plate, the jig is moved about 6 times from one end of the test dust to the other end in the longitudinal direction of the jig. After sliding for 2 seconds, the weight of the dust collected by the nonwoven fabric test piece was measured. This value was divided by the cross-sectional area of the nonwoven fabric test piece (0.01 m 2 ) to obtain the amount of dust collected per unit area of the test piece. The same test was performed using 4.5 g of commercially available bread crumbs as the test dust, and the amount of dust per unit area of the nonwoven fabric test piece was determined.
