Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems in level fluctuation of a forming mold due to the thermal deformation of a table, improve the product quality and ensure proper operations of an apparatus. SOLUTION: This molding machine for a glass product is obtained by respectively providing a pedestal part 2 to which each forming mold 9 on a turntable 1 is fixed separately from the table body 3, attaching the pedestal part 2 in a vertically movable state to the table body 3 and pushing up the pedestal part 2 located at a pressing station S2 , from the lower side before carrying out the press molding in the pressing station S3 , with a plunger, thereby correcting the level of the forming mold 9 fixed to the pedestal part 9 and holding the forming mold 9 at a constant level.

Generally, in such a glassware forming machine, the temperature of a forming die in contact with the molten glass becomes high. Therefore, the temperature of the turntable also becomes considerably high due to the heat transfer from the molding die, and this high temperature becomes more remarkable on the upper surface side of the table to which the molding die is fixed. The temperature difference causes a difference in the amount of thermal displacement between the upper surface side and the lower surface side of the table. As shown by a broken line in FIG. (The amount of deformation is exaggerated).

[0005] Such a change in the upper surface level causes a problem that the relational position between the molding die and the plunger deviates from the normal position, and the thickness of the glass product changes and the dimensions vary. Further, when the deformation of the table is large, the anvil device (35) may become inoperable.

In order to achieve the above object,
In the present invention, a plurality of molds are arranged at equal intervals on the outer peripheral portion of the intermittently rotating turntable, and each mold is sequentially fed to a plurality of stations including press molding by a plunger in a press station by intermittent rotation of the turntable. Then, in a glass product forming machine for forming a glass product, the pedestal portion to which each mold of the turntable is fixed is separately from the table body, and is attached to the table body in a vertically movable state. At the same time, in the press station, before performing the press forming by the plunger, the pedestal portion located in the station is pushed up from below, so that the level of the mold fixed to the pedestal portion is corrected and kept constant. The accommodating portion (4) is formed by cutting the outer peripheral portion of the table body (3) into a shape (rectangular shape) that matches the planar shape of the pedestal portion (2). Both sides of the housing part (4),
That is, a support portion (7) for supporting the pedestal portion (2) is protruded from the lower part of the two opposing surfaces in the circumferential direction over the entire length in the radial direction. When the pedestal portion (2) is fitted into the housing portion (4), the support portion (7) allows the pedestal portion (2) to have an upper surface level with respect to the table body (3) in a state where the bottom surface is opened. It is supported horizontally. Note that the shape of the housing portion (4) is not limited to the cut-out shape as shown in the figure, and may be a hole shape having an outer diameter end closed.

Each of the pedestals (2) is attached to the table body (3) so that it can pivot vertically about a pivot (O) by pivotally attaching an inner peripheral portion thereof to the table body (3). Specifically, a pedestal-side support member (11) having a forked portion (11a) is mounted on the inner peripheral portion of the upper surface of the pedestal portion (2), and the forked portion (11a) of the pedestal-side support member (11) is mounted. A table-side support member (12) mounted on the upper surface of the table body (3) in the space between them
And a pin (13) serving as a pivot (O) is passed through both support members (11) and (12). Thereby, the pedestal part (2)
Can pivot about the pin (13). The gap between the pedestal part (2) and the table main body (3) takes into account the thermal expansion of the pedestal part (2) and the table main body (3), and the pedestal part (2) smoothly swings even after the thermal expansion. The width is set so that it can move.

Conversely, when the drive cylinder (18) is retracted, the wedge member (17) retracts to the outer diameter side, and the pressing member (16) descends.
The length (T) of the pressing member (16) is dimensioned such that the upper part can enter between the supporting parts (7) when it is raised.

The level change of the pedestal portion (2) and the molding die (9) due to the thermal deformation of the turntable (1) is caused by pressing the pressing member (16) of the anvil device (14) at the press station (S 3 ). The height is raised by an amount corresponding to the deformation amount of (1), whereby the pedestal portion (2) is swung upward by a predetermined amount with respect to the table body (3), so that it can be corrected to a desired level. . The amount of deformation of the turntable (1) is adjusted by tightening the adjusting screw (19) of the anvil device (14) according to the amount of deformation, and the amount of elevation of the pressing member (16), that is, the amount of the pedestal (2) is increased. Set the swing amount.

In this way, the plunger (21: driven up and down by the ram cylinder 20 or the like) is formed by performing the press molding while keeping the level of the pedestal portion (2) and the molding die (9) constant. Mold (9) when lowered
It is possible to maintain the relational position between the plunger and the plunger (21) at the regular position, and to perform the high-precision press molding by preventing the displacement of the axes of the two. In addition, since the raised pressing member (16) supports the pedestal portion (2) from below, the pressing force of the plunger (21) can be received. During the intermittent rotation of the turntable (1),
The pressing member (16) is lowered to prevent interference with the pedestal (2).

The level correction amount is detected, for example, by detecting the level fluctuation amount of each pedestal portion (2) with a sensor or the like, and sequentially correcting based on the detection result. In this case, it is conceivable to provide a mechanism capable of automatically adjusting the amount of elevation of the pressing member (16) in the anvil device (14), and to send a detection signal from a sensor or the like to the adjusting mechanism to automatically correct the amount.

The pedestal portion (2) is only required to be separate from the table body (3) and move up and down with respect to the table body (3), and is not limited to the forms shown in FIGS. . For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the pedestal portion (2) is housed in a hole-shaped accommodation portion (4) provided in the table main body (3) so as to be vertically insertable and removable, and this pedestal portion (2) is accommodated. It may be slid vertically in the section (4). Further, as a device for maintaining the level of the pedestal (2) and the molding die (9) at a constant level and supporting the pressing force by the plunger (21), for example, the plunger (2) is sandwiched between the pedestal (2).
It is also possible to use a cylinder (18) vertically arranged at a position facing 1). At the tip of the cylinder rod (18a), an alignment member (23) having an alignment portion (22) which is made to protrude while narrowing upward is mounted at the center of the upper surface, and when the cylinder (18) is extended, , This alignment member (23)
The matching portion (22) is fitted into a matching hole (24) provided on the bottom surface of the pedestal portion correspondingly. This makes it possible to maintain the upper surface level of the pedestal portion (2) constant while positioning it. In this embodiment, the storage unit (4)
Is formed as a hole, but as in FIGS. 1 and 2, it is also possible to form a notch-shaped accommodation portion (4).

According to the present invention, it is possible to correct the level shift of the mold due to the thermal deformation of the turntable and to maintain the level at a constant level. Therefore, in press molding, even when the plunger is lowered, the relative position between the molding die and the plunger can be held at the regular position, and high-precision press molding can be performed. Further, stable operation can be ensured without causing the operation failure of the anvil device unlike the conventional machine.

1. A plurality of forming dies are arranged at equal intervals on an outer peripheral portion of a turntable that rotates intermittently, and each forming die is moved to a plurality of stations including press forming by a plunger in a press station by intermittent rotation of the turntable. In a glassware forming machine for forming glassware by sequentially feeding, the pedestal portion to which each mold of the turntable is fixed,
Each of them is separate from the table body, and is attached to the table body in a vertically movable state. At the press station, before performing press molding by the plunger, the pedestal located at the station is pushed up from below. A glass product forming machine wherein the level of a forming die fixed to the pedestal portion is corrected and kept constant.
