Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the brazing performance by making a brazing surface of an aluminum brazing sheet into a front face, bending and making a peripheral member in the case of interposing a honeycomb core and the peripheral member, arranging a pair of face plates and joining by brazing them. SOLUTION: An aluminum brazing sheet with a brazing member 12 cladded on one face of a core member 11 is bent in a square tube by making its brazing face (solder face) into the front face, and a peripheral member 4 is made. In a case of a use having enough strength, a partial dropped part V is allowed preferably on the square tube. After bending, when the both end face parts W are welded, the rigidity of the peripheral member 4 is raised. When the peripheral member 4 is used as the peripheral member of a honeycomb panel, because the solder 12 exists on the front face of the peripheral member 4, brazing of the face plate and the peripheral member 4 is executed completely. The solder amount on the face plate is not required to increase, and the anxiety that the core member is corroded with the solder is eliminated. The brazing of a joining part of the peripheral member 4 and the face plate has enough strength.

2. Description of the Related Art An aluminum brazed honeycomb panel is shown in FIG.
As shown in FIG. 2, a pair of face plates 1 and 2 are arranged with a honeycomb core 3 and an edge member 4 interposed therebetween, and these are integrally formed by brazing and joining in a vacuum furnace. Edge material 4 and face plate 1,
Since the brazing with No. 2 is a surface joining, a brazing joint failure is likely to occur depending on the state of the joining surface. Edge material is
When the completed aluminum brazed honeycomb panel is constructed, it is also a member for connecting the panels by welding, and if the brazing between the face plate and the rim is insufficient, the face plate and the rim are used during the welding. Swelling, peeling, etc. occur between them, and the strength of the connection part in welding cannot be secured, and the strength of the panel becomes insufficient.

In order to improve the bondability between the edge material and the face plate, a method for ensuring wettability with the brazing material by removing the oxide film on the bonding surface by surface treatment or mechanical polishing of the edge material has been proposed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 7 (1994) -207. Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-00685 discloses a method of inserting a double-sided aluminum brazing sheet or a brazing material sheet between an edge material and a face plate to compensate for the shortage of the brazing material.
It is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 189419.

When an aluminum extruded profile is used as a rim, another extrusion die is required every time the panel specifications such as the panel thickness change, and further, if the extruded shape is used, the surface properties of the profile cannot be improved. The dimensional accuracy is poor, and the brazing property between the edge material using the profile and the face plate is not always good. Therefore, as described above, prior to brazing, the brazing surface of the edge material is subjected to a surface treatment or cutting to remove an oxide film formed on the brazing surface. In addition, as a means of improving the brazing property between the edge material and the face plate, it is conceivable to increase the amount of brazing material of the face plate, but this also requires increasing the amount of brazing material at the joint surface between the face plate and the core material. And the thin core material may be corroded by the increased brazing material.

Further, the edge material is assembled into a frame shape by welding before being integrally formed by brazing. Therefore, in a weld joint portion, a step due to assembling accuracy and distortion due to welding heat, finishing accuracy of a weld bead surface, etc. Local deformations such as depressions are likely to occur. As a result, at the time of brazing, a gap is generated between the deformed portion and the face plate, which causes brazing joint failure. That is, 0.1
When a gap exceeding mm is produced, it is difficult to form a sound brazed joint. Therefore, in order to improve the brazing property of the deformed portion, a method of inserting a brazing material sheet or the like into the deformed portion to compensate for the shortage of the brazing material can be considered, but this method is based on the deformation amount and the brazing material sheet thickness. Is difficult to adjust, and cannot be said to be an effective means for eliminating the poor brazing joint.

The cross-sectional shape of the edge member 4 is as shown in FIG. 2A, in which the entire periphery of the edge member is formed of a single-sided aluminum brazing sheet, or as shown in FIG. There may be a missing portion V in a part of the edge material. Also,
The stiffness of the rim 4 shown in (a) can be increased by welding W at both end faces after bending.

[0013] By using the above-mentioned edge material for the edge material of the brazed honeycomb panel, the surface of the edge material 4 has a brazing material 12.
Is present, so that the brazing of the face plate and the edge material is complete, and the brazing quality is improved. For this reason, it is not necessary to increase the amount of the brazing material of the face plate, and there is no concern about corrosion of the thin core material by the increased brazing material when brazing is integrally formed.

Embodiment 2 FIG. 3 is a sectional view taken along the line AA of FIG. 1, and a step or recess 7 is formed in a weld joint portion 5 of an edge member 4 assembled into a frame shape by welding before brazing integral molding. It is a figure which shows the example of the aluminum brazing material thermal spray repair when it occurs. In the example, a brazing material of 4043 or 4047 alloy was directly sprayed into the recess 7 having a depth of 0.5 mm formed in the welded joint portion 5 by an arc spraying method. At that time, in order to increase the bonding strength between the edge material 4 and the brazing material 6, the surface of the depression 7 was cleaned with a wire, shot blast, or the like as a pretreatment. Since the surface after the brazing material was sprayed was uneven, the uneven portion was cut into a flat surface.

In order to confirm the effect of the aluminum brazing material thermal spray repair, the brazing joining ratio (area of the brazed sound portion / brazed area) between the spray repaired panel and the unsprayed repair panel and the brazing property of the weld joint portion (Healthy brazing number / brazing number)
Were compared. Table 1 shows the results. As shown in Table 1, the brazing joining rate of the panel subjected to the aluminum brazing material thermal spray repair was high, and the brazing joint rate of the edge material of the weld joint and the face plate was improved by the aluminum brazing material thermal spray repair. Also, the brazing property of the welded joint has been improved.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the locally deformed portion of the edge material is thermally sprayed and repaired with the aluminum brazing material before the brazing is integrally formed, the gap between the deformed portion and the face plate is eliminated during brazing. In addition, since there is no shortage of the brazing material, it is possible to form a joint having sufficient brazing strength between the edge material and the face plate.

As is apparent from the above description,
According to the present invention, a single-sided aluminum brazing sheet is formed by bending an edge material so that a brazing surface thereof becomes a surface, and a locally deformed portion of the edge material before being integrally formed is sprayed with an aluminum brazing material. Because of the repair, brazing can be integrally formed without increasing the amount of brazing material, and there is no concern about corrosion of the thin core material due to the increased brazing material. It is possible to form a joint having a low brazing strength.
