BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a honeycomb panel made of a metal such as stainless steel or titanium. The honeycomb panel includes a honeycomb core sandwiched between a pair of face sheets on upper and lower surfaces. Usually honeycomb core is corrugated cross section, they are joined by gluing or welding or the like to the face sheets. The honeycomb panel having such a structure is very light and has excellent strength. This type of honeycomb panel is used for aircraft, ships, vehicles, and the like.

2. Description of the Related Art A honeycomb structure having a large area is manufactured by joining honeycomb panels to each other. FIG.
It is an example of the joining method described in 2-238072. FIG.
The face sheets 2a, 2b and 2a ', 2b' have poor dimensional accuracy and are thin because the distortion is likely to occur when the honeycomb core 3 is joined. When 2a and 2a 'and 2b and 2b' in FIG. 8A are joined, the honeycomb panel is joined. However, butt welding such as 2a and 2a 'is performed with 2a and 2a'.
This is not easy because the plate thickness such as a 'is thin and the dimensional accuracy is poor.

In FIG. 8 (B), 2a and 2a 'and 2b and 2b' are welded through the insert 4 with the insert 4 having a height larger than the thickness of the honeycomb panel interposed therebetween. However, the method of FIG. 8B has a problem that sufficient bonding strength cannot be obtained as described later in detail, since the bonding of the honeycomb core is not performed and only the face sheet is bonded. In addition, the projecting insert 4 protrudes the joint portion and impairs the appearance. Furthermore, the process of inserting the insert material every time joining is complicated.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 6 denotes a joint between the face sheet 2 and the honeycomb core 3, and the honeycomb core 3 is joined to the face sheets 2a and 2b by laser beam welding. In the figure, one spot is welded, but one spot, two spots, and three spots are determined according to the required strength of the honeycomb panel . Also figure 7 is at the junction of the face sheet and the side plate, the side plate 5a, etc., conventional welding or Rezabi
It is joined to the face sheets 2a and 2b by, for example, rubber welding .

FIG. 2 is an explanatory view of the joining of the honeycomb panels 1 and 1 'of the present invention. When the honeycomb panels 1 and 1 'are joined in the present invention, the face sheets 2a and 2a' and 2
In addition to the joining of b and 2b ', the side plates 5C and 5C' can be further joined. Since the face sheet is thin, the joining strength tends to be insufficient only by joining the face sheets together. In the present invention, since the side plates 5C and 5C 'are further joined, a large joining strength can be obtained. Further, this method does not use the insert material 4 shown in FIG. 8 having a height larger than the thickness of the honeycomb panel, so that a beautiful joint can be obtained without a swelling of the joint.

As described with reference to FIG. 1D , in FIG. 2 of the present invention, the corrugated end of the honeycomb core 3 and the side plate 5C are joined by welding. Reference numeral 8 in FIG. 2 denotes this joint . Therefore, the side plate 5C receives all the rigidity and strength of the honeycomb core 3. Similarly, the end and side of the waveform of the honeycomb core 3 '
Since the plate 5C 'is joined at the weld 8', the side plate 5C '
Has all the rigidity and strength of the honeycomb core 3 '. Therefore, when the side plate 5C and the side plate 5C 'are welded, the rigidity and strength of the honeycomb cores 3 and 3' are all received by the joint, and the rigidity and strength do not deteriorate at the joint. Therefore, the honeycomb structure in which the honeycomb panels of the present invention are joined to each other has the same rigidity and strength as a seamless long honeycomb panel.

FIG. 3 is an explanatory view of a honeycomb panel having an L-shaped side plate 5d. For example, when the end portions of the honeycomb panels 1 and 1 ′ are placed on the cross beams 9 and the honeycomb panels 1 and 1 ′ are joined, welding is difficult because of the honeycomb core of the conventional honeycomb panel. In the present invention, the L-shaped side plate 5 is used.
d and 5d ', the flanges of the side plates 5d and 5d' and the transverse beam 9 are welded and joined 10 using the honeycomb panels 1 and 1 'having the same.
And 10 'can be formed and easily joined. Incidentally, reference numeral 11 in the figure denotes a lid for providing a surface without a depression, which can be used by being joined to the face sheets 2a and 2a '.

a 'and 2b and 2b', in addition to the side plates 5e and 5b
e ′ can be joined to each other by welding 10-1 and 10-2. For this reason, a larger bonding strength can be obtained than in the conventional case where only the face sheets are bonded together. Further, the side plates 5e and 9 and the side plates 5e 'and 9 are joined by sandwiching the cross beam 9, so that a strong joining strength can be obtained. Also, for the same reason as described with reference to FIG. 2, the joint of this method is also beautiful without swelling.

FIG. 6B and FIG. 7 show the corrugated plate 3 and the corrugated shape horizontally.
It is explanatory drawing of the joining of the side plate 5 to cut . As shown in FIGS. 6B and 7, the corrugated plate 3 and the side plate 5 are joined by fitting the end of the corrugated honeycomb core into the groove previously provided in the side plate 5 and containing nickel powder, as shown in FIGS. The welding laser beam L was irradiated using the paste to be applied. The laser was performed transmission welding the beam at the optical fiber LF to the laser welding head LH using YAG laser of continuous wave oscillation, the processing conditions at this time output 240 W, were processed per minute for 1 m. This step of joining the corrugated plate and the side plate was performed on all sides of the honeycomb panel .
