路18により検出し、字幕合成回路19により、映像信号の
上に合成し、水平方向に伸びたままの信号をブランク検
出回路17の出力で切換回路14を切換え、第2図bのよう
にディスプレイに映出する。この時、垂直振幅回路15で
本来のアスペクト比(16:9または5:3)になるよう垂直
