Description
The present invention relates to a conductive sheet and a touch panel, for example, a conductive sheet and a touch panel suitable for use in a projected capacitive touch panel.
As for the transparent conductive film using a thin metal wire, for example, as disclosed in
Recently, the touch panel has attracted attention. The touch panel is mainly applied to a small size such as a PDA (personal digital assistant) or a mobile phone, but it is considered that the touch panel will be increased in size by being applied to a display for a personal computer.
In such future trends, since conventional electrodes use ITO (Indium Tin Oxide), as the resistance increases and the application size increases, the current transfer speed between the electrodes decreases, and the response speed There is a problem that the time from when the fingertip is touched until the position is detected is delayed.
Therefore, it is conceivable to reduce the surface resistance by forming an electrode by arranging a large number of grids made of metal fine wires (metal fine wires). For example,
By the way, like patent documents 3-10, when using a metal fine wire as an electrode of a touch panel, since a metal fine wire is produced with an opaque material, transparency and visibility become a problem.
The present invention has been made in consideration of such problems, and in a touch panel, even when an electrode is configured with a thin metal wire pattern, high transparency can be ensured and visibility can be improved. Further, it is an object to provide a conductive sheet and a touch panel that can improve detection sensitivity.

[7] The length of the protruding portion along the one direction may be smaller than ½ of the length between the adjacent band-shaped portions.
[8] In this case, of the adjacent band-shaped parts, the tip of the projecting part that projects from one of the band-shaped parts toward the other band-shaped part, and the other band-shaped part toward the one band-shaped part. You may make it the front-end | tip of the overhang | projection part which opposes mutually oppose.
[9] It is preferable that the width of the belt-shaped portion is three times or more the width of the protruding portion. As a result, the conductivity of the belt-shaped portion is improved, and the signal charge accumulated in the overhanging portion can be transmitted at high speed. This leads to an improvement in detection sensitivity.
[10] A conductive sheet according to a second aspect of the present invention has a plurality of conductive patterns arranged in one direction, and the conductive patterns are connected to each other in a direction substantially orthogonal to the one direction via a connecting portion. The length of the electrode portion along the direction substantially orthogonal to the one direction is at least twice the length of the connection portion along the direction substantially orthogonal to the one direction. The conductive pattern is configured by combining a plurality of first gratings made of fine metal wires and a plurality of second gratings made of fine metal wires having a size larger than the first grating, and at least the electrode portion has the plurality of first electrodes. It is characterized by comprising one grid.
Thereby, since a conductive pattern is comprised by the combination of a some 1st grating | lattice and a some 2nd grating | lattice, even when an electrode is comprised with the pattern of a metal fine wire, it can ensure high transparency. In addition, the visibility can be improved. Further, since the electrode portion is composed of a plurality of first grids, signal charges corresponding to the touch position of the finger (or input pen) can be accumulated. In addition, the length of the electrode portion along the direction substantially orthogonal to the one direction is more than twice the length of the connection portion along the direction substantially orthogonal to the one direction. The electrode part constituted by one grid becomes longer than the connection part. As a result, the overall conductivity of the conductive pattern becomes good, and the signal charge accumulated in the electrode part can be transmitted at high speed. This leads to an improvement in detection sensitivity.
[11] In the second aspect of the present invention, the connection portion may be constituted by the plurality of second lattices.
[12] In the first and second aspects of the present invention, the length of one side of the first grating is preferably 30 to 500 μm.
[13] Moreover, it is preferable that the line | wire width of the said metal fine wire is 15 micrometers or less. As a result, even when the electrode is configured with a fine metal wire pattern on the touch panel, high transparency can be ensured, visibility can be improved, and detection sensitivity can be improved. .
[14] A conductive sheet according to a third aspect of the present invention includes a first conductive portion and a second conductive portion arranged to face each other, and the first conductive portion includes a plurality of first conductive portions arranged in one direction. The second conductive portion has a plurality of second conductive patterns arranged in a direction substantially orthogonal to the arrangement direction of the first conductive patterns, and the first conductive pattern has the one direction. The second conductive pattern has a plurality of electrode portions connected in the one direction, and the first conductive pattern and the second conductive pattern are made of fine metal wires. A plurality of first lattices and a plurality of second lattices of fine metal wires having a size larger than the first lattice are combined, and the length of the electrode portion along the one direction is the length of the band-shaped portion. It is more than twice the length along the one direction. The
Thereby, since both the first conductive pattern and the second conductive pattern are configured by combining a plurality of first gratings and a plurality of second gratings, even when an electrode is configured with a pattern of fine metal wires, High transparency can be ensured and visibility can be improved. In addition, since the length of the electrode portion along the one direction is more than twice the length of the strip portion along the one direction, the area occupied by the fine metal wires of the second conductive pattern can be increased. Therefore, the surface resistance of the second conductive pattern can be reduced. As a result, by installing the low-resistance second conductive pattern on the display device side, it is possible to suppress the influence of noise due to electromagnetic waves. This leads to an improvement in detection sensitivity.
[15] In the third aspect of the present invention, the length of one side of the first grating is preferably 30 to 500 μm.
[16] Moreover, it is preferable that the line | wire width of the said metal fine wire is 15 micrometers or less. As a result, even when the electrode is configured with a fine metal wire pattern on the touch panel, high transparency can be ensured, visibility can be improved, and detection sensitivity can be improved. .
[17] In the third aspect of the present invention, it is preferable that the first conductive portion and the second conductive portion face each other through a base, and the thickness of the base is 50 μm to 350 μm. Thereby, detection sensitivity and visibility can be improved.
[18] In the third aspect of the present invention, the first conductive pattern further includes a plurality of projecting portions projecting in both directions from the strip-shaped portion, and the projecting portion includes the electrode portion in the second conductive pattern. In this case, the parasitic capacitance between the protruding portion and the electrode portion can be greatly reduced, and the detection sensitivity can be improved.
[19] In the third aspect of the present invention, the length of the projecting portion along the one direction is shorter than the length of the electrode portion along the one direction, and the second conductive pattern of the projecting portion is arranged. The length along the direction is preferably ½ or less of the length along the arrangement direction of the second conductive pattern of the electrode portion.
[20] In the third aspect of the present invention, the length of the projecting portion along the one direction is larger than ½ of the length between the adjacent strip-shaped portions and smaller than the length between the strip-shaped portions. It is preferable.
[21] In the third aspect of the present invention, the length of the strip-shaped portion along the one direction is preferably three times or more the length of the projecting portion along the arrangement direction of the second conductive pattern. .
[22] In the third aspect of the present invention, of the adjacent strip-shaped portions, one projecting portion that projects from one of the strip-shaped portions toward the other strip-shaped portion, and one of the strip-shaped portions from the other strip-shaped portion. The first distance between the one overhanging portion and the one overhanging portion facing the one overhanging portion is L1, and the one overhanging portion and the other band-like portion to the one band-like portion. It is preferable that L1 <L2 when the second distance between the one projecting portion and the other projecting portion facing the other projecting portion is L2.
[23] In the third aspect of the present invention, the first distance is preferably not more than twice the length of the projecting portion along the arrangement direction of the second conductive pattern.
[24] In the third aspect of the present invention, it is preferable that the second distance is not more than three times the length of the electrode portion along the arrangement direction of the second conductive pattern.
[25] In the third aspect of the present invention, the length of the projecting portion along the one direction may be smaller than ½ of the length between the adjacent strip-shaped portions.
[26] In this case, of the adjacent band-shaped parts, the tip of the projecting part that protrudes from the one band-shaped part toward the other band-shaped part, and the other band-shaped part toward the one band-shaped part. You may make it the front-end | tip of the overhang | projection part which opposes mutually oppose.
[27] In the third aspect of the present invention, it is preferable that at least the protruding portion is constituted by the plurality of first lattices. Thereby, since the projecting portion is configured by the first lattice having a small size, the signal charge can be accumulated and can be used as an electrode for detecting the touch position.
[28] In the third aspect of the present invention, it is preferable that a part of the belt-like portion is constituted by the plurality of second lattices.
[29] In the third aspect of the present invention, it is preferable that the electrode portion is constituted by the plurality of first lattices. Since the electrode portion is composed of a first lattice having a small size, signal charges can be accumulated and used as an electrode for detecting a touch position.
[30] In the third aspect of the present invention, the second conductive pattern includes a plurality of electrode portions connected via connection portions, and the connection portions are configured by one or more second lattices, as viewed from above. In this case, the connection portion is opposed to the belt-like portion in the first conductive pattern. Thus, when the strip portion of the first conductive pattern and the connection portion of the second conductive pattern are opposed to each other, the plurality of second lattices face each other, and when viewed from the upper surface, the plurality of first lattices are arranged. It can be in the form. This leads to improved visibility.
[31] In the third aspect of the present invention, the first conductive pattern is configured such that a portion facing the second conductive pattern is composed of a plurality of the second lattices, and a portion not facing the second conductive pattern is a plurality of portions. The second conductive pattern is configured by the first grid, the portion facing the first conductive pattern is configured by a plurality of the second grids, and the portion not facing the first conductive pattern is the plurality of the second conductive patterns. The first grid is configured by a first grid, and a portion of the first conductive pattern and the second conductive pattern facing each other when viewed from above has a form in which a plurality of the first grids are combined. .
Thereby, the boundary between the first conductive pattern and the second conductive pattern can hardly be distinguished at the portion where the first conductive pattern and the second conductive pattern face each other, and the visibility is improved.
[32] In the third aspect of the present invention, the area occupied by the fine metal wires in the second conductive pattern is larger than the area occupied by the fine metal wires in the first conductive pattern. As a result, the area occupied by the fine metal wires of the second conductive pattern can be increased, and the surface resistance of the second conductive pattern can be reduced. As a result, by installing the low-resistance second conductive pattern on the display device side, it is possible to suppress the influence of noise due to electromagnetic waves.
[33] In this case, when the area occupied by the fine metal wires in the first conductive pattern is A1, and the area occupied by the fine metal wires in the second conductive pattern is A2, 1 <A2 / A1 ≦ 20. preferable.
[34] More preferably, 1 <A2 / A1 ≦ 10.
[35] Particularly preferably, 2 ≦ A2 / A1 ≦ 10.
[36] In the third aspect of the present invention, the first conductive pattern further includes a plurality of projecting portions projecting in both directions from the belt-shaped portion, and the plurality of projecting portions and the electrode portion each include the plurality of projecting portions. It is comprised by the 1st grating | lattice, The occupation area of the said metal fine wire in the said electrode part is larger than the occupation area of the said metal fine wire in the said protrusion part, It is characterized by the above-mentioned. Thereby, even if the 2nd conductive pattern is installed in the display apparatus side, the fall of the detection sensitivity in an electrode part can be suppressed, for example in a self-capacitance system. In addition, when the mutual capacitance method is employed, it is possible to increase the reception sensitivity at the projecting portion by using the electrode portion having a large area occupied by the fine metal wire as the drive electrode and the projecting portion as the receiving electrode.
[37] In this case, it is preferable that 1 <a2 / a1 ≦ 20, where a1 is an occupied area of the fine metal wire in the projecting portion and a2 is an occupied area of the fine metal wire in the electrode portion.
[38] More preferably, 1 <a2 / a1 ≦ 10.

The portion has a second auxiliary pattern that is not connected to the second conductive pattern between the adjacent second conductive patterns, and when viewed from above, the first auxiliary pattern and the second auxiliary pattern A combination pattern is formed by facing each other, and the combination pattern has a form in which a plurality of the first lattices are combined. Thereby, the boundary between the projecting portion and the electrode portion can hardly be distinguished, and the visibility is improved.

In addition, the detection sensitivity can be improved.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the conductive sheet and the touch panel according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. In the present specification, “˜” indicating a numerical range is used as a meaning including numerical values described before and after the numerical value as a lower limit value and an upper limit value.

As shown in FIG. 2, the first laminated

Therefore, when the self-capacitance method is adopted as the detection method of the finger touch position, even in the

Next, as a method of forming the first

Therefore, the following manufacturing method can be preferably employed.
That is, the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer formed on both surfaces of the first
A specific example of this manufacturing method will be described with reference to FIGS.
First, in step S1 of FIG. 16, a long
In step S2 of FIG. 16, the
Then, in step S3 of FIG. 16, the exposed
In the manufacturing method according to the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 18, in the first exposure process, a
Similarly, in the second exposure process, for example, the
In the first exposure process and the second exposure process, the emission timing of the
By the way, when both the first
That is, the
In order to avoid this, as a result of intensive studies, the thickness of the first
In the above-described double-sided exposure method, image defects due to exposure inhibition due to dust adhering to the film surface becomes a problem. It is known to apply a conductive material to the film as a dust prevention, but metal oxides remain after processing, impairing the transparency of the final product, and conductive polymers are storable. There is a problem. Thus, as a result of intensive studies, it was found that the silver halide with a reduced amount of binder provided the necessary conductivity for antistatic, and the volume ratio of silver / binder in the first
As described above, by setting and defining the thickness of the first
Thus, in the manufacturing method using the above-described double-sided batch exposure, it is possible to obtain the first

Next, in the first
The manufacturing method of the first
(1) A mode in which a photosensitive silver halide black-and-white photosensitive material not containing physical development nuclei is chemically developed or thermally developed to form a metallic silver portion on the photosensitive material.
(2) An embodiment in which a photosensitive silver halide black-and-white photosensitive material containing physical development nuclei in a silver halide emulsion layer is dissolved and physically developed to form a metallic silver portion on the photosensitive material.
(3) A photosensitive silver halide black-and-white photosensitive material containing no physical development nuclei and an image receiving sheet having a non-photosensitive layer containing physical development nuclei are overlapped and developed by diffusion transfer, and the metallic silver portion is non-photosensitive image-receiving sheet. Form formed on top.
The aspect (1) is an integrated black-and-white development type, and a light-transmitting conductive film such as a light-transmitting conductive film is formed on the photosensitive material. The resulting developed silver is chemically developed silver or heat developed silver, and is highly active in the subsequent plating or physical development process in that it is a filament with a high specific surface.
In the above aspect (2), the light-transmitting conductive film such as a light-transmitting conductive film is formed on the photosensitive material by dissolving silver halide grains close to the physical development nucleus and depositing on the development nucleus in the exposed portion. A characteristic film is formed. This is also an integrated black-and-white development type. Although the development action is precipitation on the physical development nuclei, it is highly active, but developed silver is a sphere with a small specific surface.
In the above aspect (3), the silver halide grains are dissolved and diffused in the unexposed area and deposited on the development nuclei on the image receiving sheet, whereby a light transmitting conductive film or the like is formed on the image receiving sheet. A conductive film is formed. This is a so-called separate type in which the image receiving sheet is peeled off from the photosensitive material.
In either embodiment, either negative development processing or reversal development processing can be selected (in the case of the diffusion transfer method, negative development processing is possible by using an auto-positive type photosensitive material as the photosensitive material). .
The chemical development, thermal development, dissolution physical development, and diffusion transfer development mentioned here have the same meanings as are commonly used in the industry, and are general textbooks of photographic chemistry such as Shinichi Kikuchi, “Photochemistry” (Kyoritsu Publishing) (Published in 1955), C.I. E. K. It is described in "The Theory of Photographic Processes, 4th ed." Edited by Mees (Mcmillan, 1977). Although this case is an invention related to liquid processing, a technique of applying a thermal development system as another development system can also be referred to. For example, the techniques described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 2004-184893, 2004-334077, and 2005-010752, and Japanese Patent Application Nos. 2004-244080 and 2004-085655 can be applied. it can.

[Development processing]
In this embodiment, after the emulsion layer is exposed, development processing is further performed. The development processing can be performed by a normal development processing technique used for silver salt photographic film, photographic paper, printing plate-making film, photomask emulsion mask, and the like. The developer is not particularly limited, but a PQ developer, MQ developer, MAA developer and the like can also be used. Commercially available products include, for example, CN-16, CR-56, CP45X, and FD prescribed by Fujifilm. -3, Papitol, a developer such as C-41, E-6, RA-4, D-19, D-72, etc. formulated by KODAK, or a developer included in the kit can be used. A lith developer can also be used.
The development processing in the present invention can include a fixing processing performed for the purpose of removing and stabilizing the silver salt in the unexposed portion. For the fixing process in the present invention, a fixing process technique used for silver salt photographic film, photographic paper, film for printing plate making, emulsion mask for photomask, and the like can be used.
The fixing temperature in the fixing step is preferably about 20 ° C. to about 50 ° C., more preferably 25 to 45 ° C. The fixing time is preferably 5 seconds to 1 minute, more preferably 7 seconds to 50 seconds. The replenishing amount of the fixing solution is preferably 600 ml / m 2 or less with respect to the processing of the photosensitive material, more preferably 500 ml / m 2 or less, 300 ml / m 2 or less is particularly preferred.
The light-sensitive material that has been subjected to development and fixing processing is preferably subjected to water washing treatment or stabilization treatment. In the water washing treatment or the stabilization treatment, the washing water amount is usually 20 liters or less per 1 m 2 of the light-sensitive material, and can be replenished in 3 liters or less (including 0, ie, rinsing with water).
The mass of the metallic silver contained in the exposed portion after the development treatment is preferably a content of 50% by mass or more, and 80% by mass or more with respect to the mass of silver contained in the exposed portion before exposure. More preferably. If the mass of silver contained in the exposed portion is 50% by mass or more based on the mass of silver contained in the exposed portion before exposure, it is preferable because high conductivity can be obtained.
The gradation after the development processing in the present embodiment is not particularly limited, but is preferably more than 4.0. When the gradation after the development processing exceeds 4.0, the conductivity of the conductive metal portion can be increased while keeping the light transmissive property of the light transmissive portion high. Examples of means for setting the gradation to 4.0 or higher include the aforementioned doping of rhodium ions and iridium ions.
Although the conductive sheet is obtained through the above steps, the surface resistance of the obtained first
[Physical development and plating]
In the present embodiment, for the purpose of improving the conductivity of the metallic silver portion formed by the exposure and development processing, physical development and / or plating treatment for supporting the conductive metal particles on the metallic silver portion is performed. May be. In the present invention, the conductive metal particles may be supported on the metallic silver portion by only one of physical development and plating treatment, or the conductive metal particles are supported on the metallic silver portion by combining physical development and plating treatment. Also good. In addition, the thing which performed the physical development and / or the plating process to the metal silver part is called "conductive metal part".
“Physical development” in the present embodiment means that metal particles such as silver ions are reduced by a reducing agent on metal or metal compound nuclei to deposit metal particles. This physical phenomenon is used for instant B & W film, instant slide film, printing plate manufacturing, and the like, and the technology can be used in the present invention.
Further, the physical development may be performed simultaneously with the development processing after exposure or separately after the development processing.
In the present embodiment, the plating treatment can use electroless plating (chemical reduction plating or displacement plating), electrolytic plating, or both electroless plating and electrolytic plating. For the electroless plating in the present embodiment, a known electroless plating technique can be used, for example, an electroless plating technique used in a printed wiring board or the like can be used. Plating is preferred.
[Oxidation treatment]
In the present embodiment, it is preferable to subject the metallic silver portion after the development treatment and the conductive metal portion formed by physical development and / or plating treatment to oxidation treatment. By performing the oxidation treatment, for example, when a metal is slightly deposited on the light transmissive portion, the metal can be removed and the light transmissive portion can be made almost 100% transparent.
[Conductive metal part]
As described above, the line width of the conductive metal portion (metal thin wire 24) of the present embodiment is preferably 1 μm or more, 3 μm or more, 4 μm or more, or 5 μm or more, and the upper limit is 15 μm or less, 10 μm or less, 9 μm. Hereinafter, 8 μm or less is preferable. When the line width is less than the above lower limit value, the conductivity becomes insufficient, so that when used for a touch panel, the detection sensitivity becomes insufficient. On the other hand, when the above upper limit is exceeded, moire caused by the conductive metal portion becomes noticeable, or visibility is deteriorated when used for a touch panel. In addition, by being in the said range, the moire of an electroconductive metal part is improved and visibility becomes especially good. The length of one side of the
The conductive metal portion in the present embodiment preferably has an aperture ratio of 85% or more, more preferably 90% or more, and most preferably 95% or more from the viewpoint of visible light transmittance. The aperture ratio is the ratio of the entire light-transmitting portion excluding the conductive portions such as the first conductive pattern, the first auxiliary pattern, the second conductive pattern, and the second auxiliary pattern. For example, the line width is 15 μm, the pitch The aperture ratio of a 300 μm square lattice is 90%.
[Light transmissive part]
The “light transmissive part” in the present embodiment means a part having translucency other than the conductive metal part in the first
Regarding the exposure method, a method through a glass mask or a pattern exposure method by laser drawing is preferable.

The thickness of the metallic silver portion provided on the first
As the thickness of the conductive metal part, the thinner the display panel, the wider the viewing angle of the display panel, and the thinner the display is required for improving the visibility. From such a viewpoint, the thickness of the layer made of the conductive metal carried on the conductive metal part is preferably less than 9 μm, more preferably 0.1 μm or more and less than 5 μm, and more preferably 0.1 μm or more. More preferably, it is less than 3 μm.
In the present embodiment, the thickness of the layer made of conductive metal particles is formed by controlling the coating thickness of the silver salt-containing layer described above to form a metallic silver portion having a desired thickness, and further by physical development and / or plating treatment. Therefore, even the first

(Evaluation of detection sensitivity)
The detection waveform was acquired by moving a finger in a certain direction with respect to the
Table 4 shows the results of Examples 11 to 17 and Reference Examples 11 and 12.
From Table 4, although the reference example 11 was favorable about visibility, the detection sensitivity was bad. This is because the thickness of the first
