Claims (12)
- 表示面上のタッチ位置の二次元座標を検出するタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置であって、
前記タッチセンサは、前記画像表示装置の表示面を構成する基板上に二次元マトリクス状に配置されて検出電極を構成する各々の面積が等しい複数のパッド電極と前記二次元マトリクスを構成する前記パッド電極を相互接続する行接続電極および列接続電極を構成する透明導電膜と、前記透明導電膜の周縁の複数個所のそれぞれに設けた座標検出端子を有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記座標検出端子は前記透明導電膜の複数の隅部を含む端部で配線を介して該透明導電膜に接続されており、前記パッド電極へのタッチによる前記複数の座標検出端子に流れる電流に基づいて前記透明導電膜上のタッチ位置の二次元座標を検出することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項2において、
前記座標検出端子は、検出抵抗を介して接続される交番電流発生回路と、前記電流により前記隅部を好適とする複数個所に接続された前記検出抵抗に生じる電圧から前記タッチの位置の二次元座標を表す座標データを生成する信号処理回路を有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記列接続電極を行方向で接続する行背柱電極と、前記行接続電極を列方向で接続する列背柱電極を有し、前記行背柱電極と前記列背柱電極の前記マトリクスの最外辺で前記座標検出端子を前記配線が接続していることを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記列接続電極の端部を行方向で接続する外側の行背柱電極と、前記行接続電極の端部を列方向で接続する外側の列背柱電極を有し、前記外側の行背柱電極と前記外側の列背柱電極は両者の端部に隅部接続点を有し、該隅部接続点に前記座標検出端子を有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記列接続電極および前記行接続電極の配線幅が前記マトリクスの内側の前記パッド電極側に近いほど漸次広くなっていることを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項6において、
配線幅が最も広い前記列接続電極および前記行接続電極が、前記マトリクスの内側の一箇所に有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項7において、
前記配線幅が最も広い前記接続電極および前記行接続電極が、前記マトリクスの内側の中央部分に有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項7において、
前記配線幅が最も広い前記接続電極および前記行接続電極が、前記マトリクスの内側の中央部分から偏心した部分に有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項6において、
配線幅が最も広い前記接続電極および前記行接続電極が、前記マトリクスの内側の複数個所に有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記画像表示装置の表示面を構成する基板は、該画像表示装置を構成する必須基板と該必須基板に積層される付加基板とからなり、前記透明導電膜は前記付加基板に有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記画像表示装置の表示面を構成する基板は、該画像表示装置を構成する必須基板に有することを特徴とするタッチセンサを備えた画面入力型画像表示装置。
