Description
The present invention relates to a digital camera that converts light from an object to be photographed into digital data and stores it.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a digital camera is known in which light is converted into an electric signal by an optical sensor such as a CCD, and the electric signal is converted into digital data and stored in a storage medium such as a flash memory. In a digital camera, image data can be stored and various processes can be easily performed by an individual using a personal computer or the like, and a picture can be printed without developing the film by outputting the image data to a printer. In addition, with the improvement of the printing quality of printers, it has become possible to print high-quality photos that are almost indistinguishable from silver halide photos.

The “viewfinder mode” is a mode in which photographing is performed mainly using the

When the
When the setting of the viewfinder mode is “custom” in the setup mode, the screen shown in FIG. In the initial state, the white balance is automatically set. When the
When the screen shown in (I) of FIG. 7 is displayed, the flash emission is fixed to automatic setting, and even if the
In the vicinity of the
By pressing the
When the user half-presses the
When any one of the close-up shooting mode, the enlarged shooting mode, and the panoramic shooting mode is selected, as in the case of “automatic”, the
When the user fully presses the
Since the data transferred from the
Next, in order to increase the number of recordings to the
When the
In the screen shown in (N) of FIG. 9, the magnification mode is set, and each time the
When the
The operation when the
The user can manually change the focal length by pressing the
When the
When the
Even in the AE / AF mode, when “priority shooting” is selected in the setup mode, the
When the user fully presses the
When the
As described above, according to the digital camera of the present embodiment, if “automatic” is selected in the viewfinder mode setting, the exposure and focus are automatically set appropriately by simply pressing the
In the above-described embodiments, the optical viewfinder is used as the viewfinder, but a viewfinder using a small LCD may be used. In this embodiment, the digital camera capable of shooting by switching between the viewfinder mode as the first shooting mode and the LCD mode as the second shooting mode has been described. Further, a plurality of shooting modes such as a third shooting mode may be provided.
