【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明はホテルの客室という宿泊空間で顧客によって客室に設置されたユーザ端末の環境を合わせて設置し、ユーザ端末を通じて様々なビジネス情報及び観光情報コンテンツを提供することによってホテル客室を宿泊空間だけでなく観光及びビジネス情報センターとして昇格させることができるホテルビジネス情報システムに関する。

【従来の技術】
現在、旅行者またはビジネスマンの場合、ホテルに滞在すればホテル客室は宿泊空間としてだけ活用されているが、旅行客の場合には名所地情報、交通情報、文化芸術情報などに関する観光情報を、一部の限定された場所に備え付けられたカタログに依存していることが実情である。また、業務出張中には書類を準備する作業などを行うために携帯用コンピュータを携帯しなければならず、インターネットなどに接続して必要な資料を検索して貰うことは困難であった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
したがって、本発明は前述の如き事情を勘案して行われたものであって、本発明の目的はホテルの客室という宿泊空間で顧客によって客室に設置されたユーザ端末の環境を合わせて設置し、ユーザ端末を通じて多様なビジネス情報、観光情報コンテンツ及びショッピングコンテンツを提供するホテルビジネス情報システムを提供することにある。

また、本発明は提携ホテルに滞在した顧客の情報をデータベース化して累積管理し、この顧客の情報に基づいて、客室のユーザ端末が用いられない時に顧客に最も適した物品広告を提供することによって、顧客の好みに合う物品を紹介するホテルビジネス情報システムを提供することにその目的がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
目的を達成するために本発明によるホテルビジネス情報システムは、ホテルごとに設置され、前記ホテルごとに滞在経験のある顧客や当該ホテルに滞在中の顧客の識別情報を含む顧客情報を第１の顧客データベースに格納し管理する第１の管理サーバと、各客室に設置されるユーザ端末の設定を、前記第１の顧客データベースに格納されている前記顧客情報に応じて遠隔制御するシステム管理サーバとを含むローカルサーバと、前記ローカルサーバを介して前記ユーザ端末ごとにビジネス、観光、及びショッピング情報のコンテンツを提供するウェブサーバと、前記ローカルサーバが設置される各ホテルにおける前記顧客情報を第２の顧客データベースに格納し管理する第２の管理サーバと、前記第２の顧客データベースに格納されている前記顧客の前記ユーザ端末に提供する前記コンテンツの前記ウェブサーバ上の格納空間を管理する保存領域管理サーバとを含むメインサーバとを有し、複数のユーザ端末によりイントラネットを構成する前記ローカルサーバは、インターネットを介して前記メインサーバに接続される情報システムであって、前記第１の管理サーバは、前記第１の顧客データベースに格納された新たな顧客情報を、前記第１の顧客データベースから取得し前記第２の顧客データベースに格納するように定期的に前記第２の管理サーバに要求し、前記第１の管理サーバは、前記第１の顧客データベースに存在しない顧客情報を、前記第２の顧客データベースから取得し伝送するように前記第２の管理サーバに要求し、前記第２の管理サーバから伝送されてきた前記顧客情報を前記第１の顧客データベースに格納し管理することを特徴とする。

図１は本発明によるホテルビジネス情報システムの概略的な構成を示した図面である。メインサーバ（ＭＳ）と複数のローカルサーバ（ＬＳ１〜ＬＳｎ）がインターネット網のようなデータ網（Ｎ）に接続されており、メインサーバ（ＭＳ）は複数の提携ホテルに滞在した各顧客に観光及びビジネスに関する総合的なコンテンツなどを提供し、彼らを管理するためのものであり、ローカルサーバ（ＬＳ１〜ＬＳｎ）はホテルに設置されて客室に設置された複数のユーザ端末（例えば、パーソナルコンピュータ）（ＵＴ１１〜ＵＴ１ｍ、ＵＴｎ１〜ＵＴｎｍ）と通信可能になっている。ここで、図面には示されていないが、一般のユーザ会員が自身のパーソナルコンピュータを利用してデータ網（Ｎ）を媒介としてメインサーバ（ＭＳ）に設置されたウェブサイトに接続し、このウェブサイトで提供するホテル客室の予約などのような各種観光予約サービスなどを提供して貰うことができる。

まず、顧客が自身のユーザ端末（例えば、パーソナルコンピュータ）を利用してデータ網を通じてウェブサーバ４０に設置されたインターネットサイトに接続しホテルを予約すれば、顧客によって作成された予約情報（例えば、国籍、年齢、性別、ホテル名、宿泊日など）がデータ網を通じてウェブサーバ４０に伝達され、このウェブサーバ４０では予約情報をメイン管理サーバ４４に伝達する。

インターネットコンテンツは各国別為替レートなどのビジネス情報を提供するビジネス情報ページと、観光と食べ物及び文化芸術などの各種旅行情報を提供する旅行情報ページと、メインサーバ（ＭＳ）のメールサーバ４６及び保存領域管理サーバ４８を利用して各顧客に電子メールの送受信及びデータ格納空間を提供するプライベートサービスページと、映画、ゲーム、ミュージックビデオ、仮想カジノなどのような娯楽を提供するエンターテイメイントページと、免税品を販売するサイバー免税店と記念品及び特産品などを販売するサイバーショッピングモールなどを紹介し、これらショッピングモールで物品を購入することができるサイバーショッピングページと、顧客（会員）が自身を紹介することができる電子掲示板及び他の顧客（会員）とチャットできるチャットサービスを提供するコミュニティページ、顧客（会員）がホテル客室の予約、レンタカー予約、交通（列車、バス、航空機）予約などを行うことができる予約サービスページ、全ての顧客（会員）に公示事項などを知らせるニュースページなどを含んで構成できる。
