【0003】
ところで、特公平4−28040号公報には、式MM’S(M及びM’はそれぞれ水素、アルカリ金属又はアンモニウム基を表し、それらはたがいに同一でも異なっていてもよい)で表される硫黄化合物で処理する工程と重金属の硫化物を含有する吸着剤に接触させる工程からなる方法が開示されている。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for removing mercury from liquid hydrocarbons, and more particularly to a method for efficiently removing mercury from liquid hydrocarbons containing mercury by simple means.
[0002]
[Prior art]
NGL (natural gas liquid) recovered by removing liquefied petroleum gas from a natural gas field contains several tens to several hundreds ppb of mercury, depending on the production area. When such mercury-containing liquid hydrocarbons are used as chemical raw materials such as ethylene raw materials, mercury generates amalgams with platinum, palladium, copper, aluminum, etc., which may cause deterioration of the hydrogenation catalyst, It is known to lead to corrosion and strength reduction, and development of mercury removal technology is strongly desired.
[0003]
By the way, in Japanese Patent Publication No. 4-28040, sulfur represented by the formula MM ′S (M and M ′ each represent hydrogen, an alkali metal or an ammonium group, which may be the same or different). A method comprising a step of treating with a compound and a step of contacting with an adsorbent containing a heavy metal sulfide is disclosed. However, since the process is complicated and includes an adsorption operation, complicated preparation of the adsorbent and strict management of operating conditions are required. Furthermore, in the preparation of the adsorbent, the physical properties of the adsorbent change due to various factors. As a result, the mercury removal process from hydrocarbons is affected, and it is difficult to prepare an adsorbent for stable mercury adsorption. is there.
[0004]
In JP-A-6-89338, it is represented by the formula MM ′S X (M represents an alkali metal or ammonium group, M ′ represents hydrogen, an alkali metal, or an ammonium group, and x represents a number of 1 to 6). A method of treating with a sulfur compound is disclosed. However, when the processing temperature is 40 ° C. or lower, the mercury concentration after the processing is as high as 30 to 170 ppb, and even at 100 to 120 ° C., it may be 30 ppb, which is not a satisfactory value.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made from the above viewpoint, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method for efficiently removing mercury from liquid hydrocarbons containing mercury by simple means.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of extensive research, the present inventors have effectively achieved the above object by bringing mercury-containing liquid hydrocarbons into contact with substances having the ability to ionize elemental mercury and specific sulfur compounds. The present invention has been completed by finding out what can be achieved.
[0007]
That is, the present invention relates to a liquid hydrocarbon containing mercury, a substance having the ability to ionize elemental mercury, and the formula MM ′S (M and M ′ represent hydrogen, alkali metal or ammonium group, respectively, The present invention provides a method for removing mercury in liquid hydrocarbons, characterized by contacting with a sulfur compound represented by the same or different.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is described in detail below.
First, the liquid hydrocarbon containing mercury to be treated in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is a hydrocarbon that is liquid at room temperature.
For example, crude oil, straight-run naphtha, kerosene, light oil, vacuum distillate oil, atmospheric residue oil, natural gas condensate and the like can be mentioned, and natural gas condensate (NGL) is particularly preferable.
[0009]
The form of mercury removed by the method of the present invention can be either elemental mercury or ionic mercury.
The mercury concentration in the liquid hydrocarbon is not particularly limited, but is usually 2 to 1,000 W / Vppb, preferably 5 to 100 W / Vppb.
The present invention relates to the above-described liquid hydrocarbon containing mercury, a substance capable of ionizing elemental mercury (hereinafter abbreviated as ionized substance), and a formula MM ′S (M and M ′ are hydrogen, It represents an alkali metal or ammonium group, which may be the same or different from each other) and is contacted with a sulfur compound represented by the following.
[0010]
The ionized material, such as iron sulfate, iron chloride, acid iron, iron compounds such as iron nitrate, copper sulfate, copper chloride, copper oxide, copper compounds such as copper nitrate, vanadium oxide, vanadium sulfide, such as vanadium sulfate vanadium compounds, manganese compounds such as manganese oxide, sulfate, manganese, nickel oxide, nickel compounds such as sulfuric acid nickel, inorganic peroxides such as hydrogen peroxide, organic peroxides such as peracetic acid, oxygen in the air, oil it can be exemplified such as a tank sludge, among them iron sulfate, acid iron, copper oxide, vanadium oxide, oil tank sludge are preferred. Crude oil tank sludge refers to sludge at the bottom of the crude oil tank. From the viewpoint of elemental analysis values, Fe, Si, Na, Al, P, Zn, Cu, Ca, Mg, V, K, Cr, Mn, Ni, C, It contains elements such as H, N, S, and O. As the sludge, a dried one may be used, or one containing a slight amount of the above moisture may be used.
[0011]
The sulfur compound is represented by the general formula MM ′S, and M and M ′ are the same or different and are each independently hydrogen, an alkali metal or an ammonium group. Here, examples of the alkali metal include sodium, potassium, lithium, cesium, and the like.
Specific examples of the sulfur compound include hydrogen sulfide, sodium sulfide, sodium hydrosulfide, potassium sulfide, potassium hydrosulfide, and ammonium sulfide. Among them, hydrogen sulfide, sodium sulfide, and sodium hydrosulfide are preferable.
The form of the sulfur compound may be a solid, a gas, an aqueous solution, or a solution dissolved in an organic solvent.
[0012]
Regarding the order in which the liquid hydrocarbon containing mercury is brought into contact with the ionized substance and the sulfur compound, the liquid hydrocarbon may be first contacted with the ionized substance and then contacted with the sulfur compound or containing mercury. The liquid hydrocarbon to be produced may be brought into contact with the ionized substance and the sulfur compound at the same time. Further, after contacting a liquid hydrocarbon containing mercury with a sulfur compound, an ionized substance may be added thereto and further contacted.
[0013]
The ratio of the ionized substance and the liquid hydrocarbon containing mercury can be arbitrarily selected from the range of 0.000001: 1,000 to 1: 1 by weight, preferably 0.0001: 1,000. -10: 1,000.
The ratio of the sulfur compound to the liquid hydrocarbon containing mercury can be arbitrarily selected in the range of 0.000001: 1,000 to 1: 1 by weight, preferably 0.0001: 1,000. -10: 1,000.
The ratio of the aqueous solution containing the sulfur compound and the liquid hydrocarbon containing mercury can be arbitrarily selected in the range of 0.01: 1,000 to 1,000: 0.1 by weight, preferably The range is 1: 1,000 to 500: 1,000.
[0014]
About the temperature of said contact processing, the liquid property of a hydrocarbon should just be maintained at a normal pressure, and what is necessary is just to maintain the liquid property also under 0-100 degreeC and a pressure normally. For example, if it is 1 MPa, the range of 0-180 degreeC should just be selected.
As the contact method of the above contact treatment, for example, stirring in a contact tank by a stirring blade, stirring by a line mixer, rotation of the container itself, stirring by vibration, and the like can be adopted. Moreover, the contact time is 3 second-24 hours, and even if it exceeds 24 hours, there is no problem, but it is economically disadvantageous.
[0015]
Mercury removed from the hydrocarbon is removed as a solid from the liquid phase of the hydrocarbon and water. As the method, solid-liquid separation means such as decantation and filtration can be selected. Or you may make it settle to the bottom of a container as it is.
[0016]
