【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、番組情報に基づいて番組の選択を支援する番組選択支援装置並びにそのような番組選択支援プログラムを記録したコンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体（以下、番組選択支援装置等という。）に関し、特に、利用者により入力された選択条件を満たす番組の選択を支援する番組選択支援装置等に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、衛星放送やケーブルテレビ放送などの普及により利用者が視聴可能なテレビ・ラジオ等の番組数は増加の一途をたどっている。ところが、番組数が増加しているにもかかわらず、視聴者が視聴したい番組を選択する方法についてはあまり改善が図られていないのが現状である。視聴者は新聞のテレビ・ラジオ番組欄や専門情報誌等の、「紙による」メディア上で多数の番組の中から自分が視聴したい番組を選択し、その放送日時やチャンネル等を確認するという作業を行なっている。あるいはまた、番組選択支援装置を利用する場合もある。

従来の番組選択支援装置としては、特開平６-２７６５０１号に開示されている情報記録予約装置が知られている。これは、番組のプログラムに変更があった時に、新しい情報を送信して予約登録の内容を更新するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の番組選択支援装置では、番組の放送時間の更新のみが可能であり、例えば、出演者や番組内容等の更新はできない。
そこで、本発明はかかる問題点に鑑み、時間経過により変更される可能性を持つ番組情報の更新に追従して番組の選択を支援する番組選択支援装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る番組選択支援装置は、番組毎にその番組の内容を特徴づける番組情報を継続的に入手しこれに基づいて、番組の選択を支援する番組選択支援装置であって、継続的に最新の番組情報を入手する番組情報入手手段と、番組情報入手手段が入手した番組情報を番組毎に保持し、さらに、最新の番組情報を入手する度にその番組情報を更新して保持する番組情報保持手段と、番組を選択する条件である選択条件の入力を利用者から受け付ける条件受付手段と、条件受付手段が受け付けた選択条件を保持する条件保持手段と、番組情報保持手段が保持する番組毎の番組情報の中から条件保持手段が保持する選択条件の判断対象となる番組情報を番組情報の更新の度に抽出する番組情報抽出手段と、番組情報の抽出の度にその番組情報が選択条件を満たすか否かを判断する条件判断手段と、条件判断手段が満たすと判断した場合にその番組情報、その番組情報に係る番組の番組名及びその番組情報に係る番組を特定する情報のうち少なくとも１つを出力する出力手段とを備えることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面を用いて説明する。
（実施の形態１）
図１は、本発明に係る番組選択支援装置の実施の形態１の構成を示す図である。

本装置は、番組情報入手部１０、番組情報保持部１１、選択候補番組受付部１２、識別子保持部１３、条件受付部１４、条件保持部１５、番組情報抽出部１６、条件判断部１７、出力部１８、提示部１９、受信部２０及び録画部２１で構成されている。
番組情報入手部１０は、放送に重畳された番組情報を受信するか、通信回線を介して番組情報を取得するか、記録媒体で供給される番組情報を入力するかの少なくとも一つを行ない、継続的に最新の番組情報を入手する。ここでは、通信回線を介して番組情報を取得するものとする。

番組情報保持部１１は、番組情報入手部１０が入手した番組情報を番組毎に保持し、さらに、最新の番組情報を入手する度に、その番組情報を更新して保持する。
選択候補番組受付部１２は、番組情報保持部１１が保持した番組情報を提示し、この番組情報が示す番組の中から選択される候補となる選択候補番組の指定を利用者から受け付ける。

番組情報は、番組識別子、チャンネル、放送開始時間、放送終了時間、番組名、ジャンル、内容、出演及びシリーズ番号から構成される。ここで、番組識別子は、番組を一意に特定可能な識別子(ID)である。

図２に示す番組情報は、７月２５日の午前８時に入手したものであり、「内容」の欄には「アリックス（？）Ｘ ホイエー（？）」と、「阪人（？） Ｘ 巨神（？）」の記述がある。これは、この番組が、７月２５日に行われるアリックス対ホイエー戦と阪人対巨神戦の試合に関する内容を放送する予定であることを示している。ここで、各チーム名の後に記載された「（ ）」は、各チームの得点を表す為のものであるが、この番組情報を入手した７月２５日の午前８時の時点では、まだこれらの試合は行われていないので得点は記述されておらず、不定を表す「（？）」となっている。

図４（ａ）及び図４（ｂ）は、選択条件の入力の時に提示される画面を示す図である。なお、図４（ａ）では、プルダウンメニューにより詳細な設定が可能である。

図５は、利用者による選択候補番組の指定と選択条件の入力とを、選択候補番組受付部１２と条件受付部１４とが受け付ける処理のフローチャートを示す図である。
ここで、図２〜図５を用いて、利用者による選択候補番組の指定と選択条件の入力とについて説明する。
１．選択候補番組受付部１２が、図２に示すような最新の番組情報に基づいて、図３に示す番組情報を提示する（ステップＳ１）。
２．図３に示す番組情報が提示されている時に、利用者がリモコンの予約ボタン等を用いて提示されている番組を指定することによって、選択候補番組が指定される（ステップＳ２）。
３．条件受付部１４が、図４（ａ）に示す選択条件を入力する画面を提示する（ステップＳ３）。
４．ここでは、ユーザの選択要求が、「阪人が勝った場合にのみ番組を見る」であるとする。利用者はリモコンの操作ボタン等を用いて「阪人 対 巨神」の「結果」にカーソルを合わせ選択する（ステップＳ４）。
５．「阪人 対 巨神」の「結果」が選択されると、図４（ｂ）に示すプルダウンメニューが開く。ここでは、「阪人＞巨神」、「阪人＜巨神」 の二つのメニューが提示される。（ステップＳ５）。
６．利用者が「阪人＞巨神」を選択し、「阪人が勝った場合にのみ番組を見る」ということを示す選択条件「阪人＞巨神」が入力される（ステップＳ６）。

なお、ステップＳ２における選択候補番組の指定の後、識別子保持部１３が、選択候補番組受付部１２が受け付けた選択候補番組の識別子「２０４−０２２」を保持する。
また、ステップＳ６における選択条件の入力の後、条件保持部１５が、条件受付部１４が受け付けた選択条件「阪人＞巨神」を保持する。

図６は、番組情報入手部１０が入手する番組情報の一部を示す図である。
図６に示す番組情報は、７月２５日の午後１０時３０分に入手したものであり、「内容」の欄には「アリックス（７）Ｘ ホイエー（２）」と、「阪人（６）Ｘ 巨神（５）」の記述がある。これは、この番組が、７月２５日に行われたアリックス対ホイエー戦と阪人対巨神戦の試合に関する内容を放送する予定であることを示している。ここで、各チーム名の後に記載された「（ ）」は、各チームの得点を表すものであり、それぞれの得点が記述されている。なお、この番組情報を入手した時点で、すでにこれらの試合は終了しているものとする。

図７は、番組情報抽出部１６による番組情報を抽出する処理と、条件判断部１７による選択条件を判断する処理についての概要のフローチャートを示す図である。
ここで、図２、図６及び図７を用いて、番組情報を抽出する処理と選択条件を判断する処理についての概要を説明する。
１．番組情報又は選択条件が更新されるのを待つ。ここでは、予め選択候補番組として「プロ野球ダイジェスト」を保持し、選択条件として数式「阪人＞巨神」を保持し、図２に示す番組情報を保持しているものとし、７月２５日の午後１０時３０分に、図６に示す番組情報を入手した場合について説明する（ステップＳ１１）。
２．未処理の番組を選択する。ここでは、「プロ野球ダイジェスト」を選択するものとする（ステップＳ１２）。
３．選択した番組が、選択候補番組か否かを判断する（ステップＳ１３）。
４．選択した番組が選択候補番組である場合は、さらに、未処理の選択条件を持つか否かを判断する（ステップＳ１４）。
５．選択候補番組が未処理の選択条件を持つ場合は、番組情報抽出部１６がその選択条件に対応する番組情報を抽出し、さらに、条件判断部１７がその選択条件を満たすか否かを判断する。ここでは、選択候補番組「プロ野球ダイジェスト」が未処理の選択条件である数式「阪人＞巨神」を持つので、対応する番組情報「阪人（６）× 巨神（５）」を抽出し、対応する数値を代入して「６＞５」として計算する。この数式は正しいので選択条件を満たすと判断する（ステップＳ１５）。
６．選択条件を持つ番組がその選択条件を満たす場合か、又は、選択候補番組が選択条件を全く持たない場合は、各選択支援処理を実施する。まず、出力部１８が、その番組情報、その番組情報に係る番組の番組名、及び、その番組情報に係る番組のを特定する情報のうち少なくとも１つを出力する。続いて、各処理部が、番組情報か番組名の提示、番組の受信予約又は番組の録画予約等の各選択支援処理を行う。ここでは、出力部１８が、番組情報「阪人（６）× 巨神（５）」と番組名「プロ野球ダイジェスト」を提示部１９へ、番組を特定する情報である番組識別子「２０４−０２２」を受信部２０と録画部２１へ出力し、提示部１９が番組情報「阪人（６）× 巨神（５）」と番組名「プロ野球ダイジェスト」を入手してテレビの画面上等に提示し、受信部２０が番組識別子「２０４−０２２」を入手してこの情報により特定される番組「プロ野球ダイジェスト」を受信予約するか又は受信し、録画部２１が番組識別子「２０４−０２２」を入手してこの情報により特定される番組「プロ野球ダイジェスト」を録画予約するか又は録画する（ステップＳ１６）。
７．全ての選択条件についての処理が完了したか否かを判断する。全ての選択条件についての処理が完了していなけれは、次の選択条件についての処理に戻る（ステップＳ１７）。

なお、本発明では、利用者が選択候補番組を指定し選択条件を入力したが、必ずしも選択候補番組の指定は必要ではなく、入力された選択条件を満たす番組情報を持つ番組を全ての番組の中から抽出するものであってもよい。この場合には、図７のステップＳ１３は不要となる。
このようにして、本発明では、時間経過により変更される可能性を持つ番組情報に関連する選択条件を予め利用者が入力し、この番組情報の更新に追従して選択条件についての判断を行い、利用者による番組の選択を支援する。

図８は、本発明に係る番組選択支援装置の実施の形態２の構成を示す図である。
なお、上記実施の形態１の番組選択支援装置と同様の構成を有する各部には同一の符号を付し、同一の機能についてはその説明を省略し、本実施の形態固有の部分についてのみ説明する。

番組情報抽出部１６は、さらに、選択条件の判断対象となる番組情報に係る番組の放送開始時刻と放送終了時刻とを抽出する。
計時部２２は、現在時刻を計時する。

時刻判断部２３は、出力部１８が番組を特定する情報を出力した時に、番組情報抽出部１６が抽出した放送開始時刻と、計時部２２が計時する現在時刻とを比較し、放送開始時刻が現在時刻よりも後である場合に、対応する番組が放送開始前であると判断し、番組情報抽出部１６が抽出した放送終了時刻と、計時部２２が計時する現在時刻とを比較し、放送開始時刻が現在時刻より後であり、且つ、放送終了時刻が現在時刻より前である場合に、対応する番組が放送中であると判断する。

２．図１０に示す番組情報が提示されている時に、利用者がリモコンの予約ボタン等を用いて提示されている番組を指定することによって、選択候補番組が指定される（ステップＳ２）。
３．条件受付部１４が、図１１（ａ）に示す選択条件を入力する画面を提示する（ステップＳ３）。
４．ここでは、ユーザの選択要求が、「阪人が逆転したら、他の番組を見ていてもチャンネルを変更して、この番組を受信する」であるとする。利用者はリモコンの操作ボタン等を用いて「阪人 対 巨神」の「ANYTIME」にカーソルを合わせ選択する（ステップＳ４）。
５．「阪人 対 巨神」の「ANYTIME」が選択されると、図１１（ｂ）に示すプルダウンメニューが開く。ここでは、「阪人＞巨神」、「阪人＜巨神」 の二つのメニューが提示される。（ステップＳ５）。
６．利用者が「阪人＞巨神」を選択し、「阪人が逆転したら、他の番組を見ていてもチャンネルを変更して、この番組を受信する」ということを示す選択条件「阪人＞巨神」が入力される（ステップＳ６）。

１．出力部１８が番組を特定する情報を受信部２０と録画部２１へ出力した直後に、時刻判断部２３が、対応する番組が放送開始前であるか否かを判断する。番組情報抽出部１６が抽出した放送開始時刻と、計時部２２が計時する現在時刻とを比較し、放送開始時刻が現在時刻よりも後である場合に、対応する番組が放送開始前であると判断する。ここでは、対応する番組「プロ野球中継」が放送開始前ではないと判断する。（ステップＳ２１）。
２．対応する番組が放送開始前であると判断された場合は、受信部２０と録画部２１が、出力部１８が出力した番組を特定する情報を入手し、受信部２０がこの情報により特定される番組を受信予約し、また、録画部２１がこの情報により特定される番組を録画予約する（ステップＳ２２）。
３．対応する番組が放送開始前でないと判断された場合は、さらに、時刻判断部２３が、対応する番組が放送中であるか否かを判断する。番組情報抽出部１６が抽出した放送終了時刻と、計時部２２が計時する現在時刻とを比較し、放送終了時刻が現在時刻より前である場合に、対応する番組が放送中であると判断する。ここでは、対応する番組「プロ野球中継」が放送中であると判断する。（ステップＳ２３）。
４．対応する番組が放送中であると判断された場合は、受信部２０と録画部２１が、出力部１８が出力した番組を特定する情報を入手し、受信部２０がこの情報により特定される番組を受信し、また、録画部２１がこの情報により特定される番組を録画する。ここでは、受信部２０が、番組を特定する情報である番組識別子「２０４−０１０」を入手し、他の番組を見ていてもチャンネルを変更して、この情報により特定される番組「プロ野球中継」を受信する（ステップＳ２４）。

なお、上述の例では、番組情報の更新の度に選択条件についての判断を行っているが、条件判断部１７による選択条件についての判断は、時刻判断部２３が放送開始前であると判断した場合は、番組情報が更新される度に判断する必要は無く、番組情報抽出部１６が抽出した放送開始時刻の直前に、最新の番組情報に基づいて選択条件を満たすか否かを判断するものであってもよい。

このようにして、本発明では、時間経過により変更される可能性を持つ番組情報に関連する選択条件を予め利用者が入力し、この番組情報の更新に追従して選択条件についての判断を行い、選択条件を満たす場合には、放送開始前か放送中かを判断し、放送開始前であれば受信予約や録画予約を行い、放送中であれば受信や録画を行い、利用者による番組の選択を支援する。なお、番組情報や番組名等の提示は、放送開始前であるか、放送中であるかに関わりなく実行でき、利用者による番組の選択を支援する。

また、上述の各実施の形態例では、試合結果を選択条件とした数式を用いて選択の判断を行なっているが、選択条件や選択の判断はこれに限られる訳ではない。
例えば、選択条件は「３回」や「株価」等のキーワードであり、選択の判断は、番組放送開始前にあるいは放送中にリアルタイムで、番組の内容を示す「３回表」や「今日の株価」等の番組内容項目の中に、選択条件であるキーワードが含まれるか否かにより行なうものであってもよい。

また、例えば、選択条件は「大嶋一茂」等の出演者名であり、選択の判断は、番組放送開始前にあるいは放送中にリアルタイムで、出演者名等を含む番組情報の中に、選択条件である出演者名が含まれるか否かにより行なうものであってもよい。
また、上述の番組情報は一構成例であり、この他の属性を含むことも、あるいは一部の属性を含まない構成とすることも可能である。例えば、番組情報は、放送番組に重畳された字幕情報であるクローズドキャプション等であってもよい。さらに、ここでは1日分の番組情報を対象としているが、1週間分や2週間分などのように、任意期間の番組情報に関しても適用可能である。

以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明に係る番組選択支援装置は、番組毎にその番組の内容を特徴づける番組情報を継続的に入手しこれに基づいて、番組の選択を支援する番組選択支援装置であって、継続的に最新の番組情報を入手する番組情報入手手段と、番組情報入手手段が入手した番組情報を番組毎に保持し、さらに、最新の番組情報を入手する度にその番組情報を更新して保持する番組情報保持手段と、番組を選択する条件である選択条件の入力を利用者から受け付ける条件受付手段と、条件受付手段が受け付けた選択条件を保持する条件保持手段と、番組情報保持手段が保持する番組毎の番組情報の中から条件保持手段が保持する選択条件の判断対象となる番組情報を番組情報の更新の度に抽出する番組情報抽出手段と、番組情報の抽出の度にその番組情報が選択条件を満たすか否かを判断する条件判断手段と、条件判断手段が満たすと判断した場合にその番組情報、その番組情報に係る番組の番組名及びその番組情報に係る番組を特定する情報のうち少なくとも１つを出力する出力手段とを備えることを特徴とする。

また、本発明に係る番組選択支援装置は、前記番組情報抽出手段が抽出する番組情報は数値を含み、前記条件受付手段が受け付ける選択条件は数式であり、前記条件判断手段は、前記条件保持手段が保持する数式に前記番組情報抽出手段が抽出した数値を代入して計算することによりその番組情報が選択条件を満たすか否かを判断することを特徴とすることもできる。
