Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an absorbent article such as a sanitary napkin or an incontinence pad, and more particularly to an absorbent article having excellent leakproofness.
[0002]
Problems to be solved by the prior art and the invention
Conventionally, a liquid-permeable skin-contacting surface such as a sanitary napkin, an incontinence pad, a panty liner, a paper diaper, a liquid-impermeable non-skin-contacting surface, the skin-contacting surface and the non-skin-contacting surface. There have been proposed various absorbent articles which are provided with an absorbent portion interposed between the contact surfaces and are formed to be substantially vertically elongated. Absorbent articles used at bedtime or for the purpose of absorbing a large amount of bodily fluids may be transmitted or absorbed by the user's body due to the influence of the user's body position, such as sideways or on his back, and large amounts of bodily fluids. It may leak by flowing on the surface of the article, or may ooze out from the end along the absorbent body. Moreover, in such an absorbent article, leakage often occurs particularly in the rear portion and in the lateral direction.
[0003]
Therefore, as described in Japanese Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 56-59013, Japanese Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 2-88625, Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 1-110002, and Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 64-49555, There has been proposed a technique for preventing leakage by providing a groove in a body to block a body fluid or control the diffusivity. However, in these prior arts, there are cases in which it is still not possible to sufficiently avoid leakage, particularly leakage at the rear.
[0004]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that can reliably prevent side leakage and back leakage.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventors have conducted various studies in order to solve the above-described problems, and as a result, have found that an absorbent article in which a groove having a specific shape is arranged at a specific position can achieve the above object.
[0006]
The present invention has been made based on the above findings, and has a liquid-permeable skin-contacting surface, a liquid-impermeable non-skin-contacting surface, and an interposition between the skin-contacting surface and the non-skin-contacting surface. An absorbent article having a substantially vertically elongated shape, wherein the absorbent section has a skin contacting surface of an excretion section contacting section which is in contact with a bodily fluid excretion section of a wearer when the absorbent article is worn. A pair of front grooves formed along the longitudinal direction of the sexual article,The widthwise center of each of the non-skin contact surface and the skin contact surface does not have a groove extending in the longitudinal direction,The pair of front grooves are each formed in a convex arc shape inward in the width direction of the absorbent article, and the skin of the rear portion abutted on the rear side of the wearer at the time of wearing. The contact surface has a rear groove formed along the width direction of the absorbent article, and the rear groove is subjected to groove processing for forming a plurality of small grooves in a discontinuous manner. And the gap between the small grooves is formed at a depth of two steps continuously depressed from the skin contact surface, the distance between the rearmost part of the rear groove and the rear end of the absorbing part is 10 to 50 mm The distance between the innermost portions of the pair of front grooves in the width direction of the absorbent article is shorter than the distance between the outermost portions of the rear grooves in the width direction of the absorbent article, and 20 to 50 mm. In the mounted state, the excretion portion abutment portion has a gap between the pair of front grooves. Be a cross arched a raised contact surface side is to provide an absorbent article characterized by.
[0007]
The above-mentioned “a pair of front grooves formed along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article” may be formed substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article.,oneOr multiple arcs such as a pairIn shapeIs formedYou.
The above-mentioned "rear groove formed along the width direction of the absorbent article" may be formed substantially parallel to the width direction of the absorbent article, and when the rear groove is formed parallel to the width direction. In addition, the case where it is formed so as to be located outward in the width direction as it goes backwards is also included, and when it is formed in one linear shape, it is formed in a plurality of linear shapes such as a pair. The case where it is formed includes the case where it is formed in a curved shape such as a single or a pair of a plurality of arcs.
[0008]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a sanitary napkin as a first embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a plan view of a main part of the sanitary napkin of FIG. 1, and FIG. FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along line II of FIG.
[0009]
As shown in FIG. 1, the absorbent article (sanitary napkin) 10 of the present embodiment includes a liquid-permeable skin contact surface P, a liquid-impermeable non-skin contact surface, and the skin contact surface. P and an absorbing portion A interposed between the non-skin contact surfaces, and are formed substantially vertically long.
[0010]
More specifically, the skin contact surface P is formed by a liquid-permeable top sheet 12, and the non-skin contact surface is formed by a liquid-impermeable back sheet. Further, the top sheet 12 and the back sheet are bonded at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10.
[0011]
The left and right side edges of the top sheet 12 and the back sheet extend outward in the width direction, and wings 14 are formed. The surfaces of the back sheets of the wings 14, 14 are coated with an adhesive to form gap stoppers 14a, 14a. The gap stoppers 14a, 14a are made of release paper or a release film (not shown). Protected by
[0012]
About these structures, it is the same as the conventional absorbent article, As a forming material of the said top sheet 12 and the said back sheet, and the adhesive agent which forms the said slip prevention parts 14a, 14a, a well-known thing is especially used. It can be used without limitation.
[0013]
Thus, as shown in FIG. 1, the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment has the skin contact surface P of the excretory part abutment part 10a which abuts on the excretory part from which the body fluid of the wearer is excreted when worn. The sanitary napkin 10 has a pair of front grooves 16, 16 formed along the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10, and the skin contact surface of the rear portion 10b which comes into contact with the rear side of the wearer at the time of wearing. P has a rear groove 15 formed along the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10. The distance L between the rearmost part 15a of the rear groove 15 and the rear end of the absorbing part A is 10 to 50 mm, and the innermost parts of the pair of front grooves 16, 16 in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10 are connected. Distance W1Is the distance W between the outermost portions of the rear groove 15 in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10.2Is shorter than
The distance L needs to be 10 to 50 mm, preferably 10 to 30 mm. If it is less than 10 mm, the absorbable amount of the bodily fluid on the rear side of the groove is too small, and the bodily fluid that once flows backward from the rear groove 15 and leaks may leak from the absorbent article 1 without being absorbed by the absorbing portion A. In the case of 50 mm or more, the distance between the rear groove 15 and the excretion position may be too short, the amount of body fluid reaching the rear groove 15 increases, and the body fluid easily passes over the rear groove 15 and flows backward. There is a risk of leakage.
[0014]
More specifically, in the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, the rear groove 15 is formed in an arc shape along the rear end of the absorbing portion A, and the rear portion formed in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10. The sanitary napkin 10 includes a pair of side portions 15c, 15c extending linearly forward from the rear portion 15b along both longitudinal edges of the sanitary napkin 10.
[0015]
The depth D of the rear groove 15 is preferably 1 to 10 mm, and more preferably 3 to 8 mm. If the depth D of the rear groove 15 and the front groove 16 is less than 1 mm, it is difficult to obtain the effect of blocking the body fluid flowing on the surface, and if it exceeds 10 mm, the wearer will feel uncomfortable and unfavorable.
Further, the thickness T of the sanitary napkin 10 at the portion where the rear groove 15 is formed is set.1Thickness T at the portion where no groove is formed2The ratio T to1/ T2Is preferably 0.05 to 0.7, more preferably 0.1 to 0.5.
T1/ T2Is less than 0.05, the preferred thickness T for the sanitary napkin 102Sanitary napkin (thickness T of sanitary napkin 10)2Is preferably 1.5 to 15 mm, more preferably 2 to 10 mm. ), When the rear groove 15 and the front groove 16 are formed by pressing, the rear groove 15 and the front groove 16 become too hard and may lose the fitting property. A sufficient effect of blocking the flow of bodily fluids cannot be obtained, which is not preferable.
[0016]
Hereinafter, a preferred groove structure will be described.
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the rear groove 15 is subjected to groove processing for discontinuously forming a plurality of diamond-shaped small grooves 15 d from the skin contact surface P side along a predetermined shape. It is formed at two levels of depth in which the space between the small grooves 15d is continuously recessed from the skin contact surface P. In this way, by continuously recessing the small grooves 15d and the small grooves 15d from the skin contact surface P and forming them at two levels of depth, the depth D of the rear groove 15 can be increased while forming the depth D deep. It is possible to maintain high flexibility and obtain good fit. The size of the small groove 15d is 1 to 100 mm2It is preferred that 1mm2If it is smaller, the effect of blocking body fluid is small, and 100 mm2If it exceeds, a desirable flexibility cannot be obtained. Further, the pitch of each small groove 15d is preferably 0.5 to 5 mm. If it is less than 0.5 mm, favorable flexibility and skin contact properties cannot be obtained, and if it is more than 5 mm, a portion that does not dent between the small grooves 15 d is generated, and the leakage prevention effect is reduced.
In the groove processing for forming the small grooves 15d discontinuously, the thickness T of the sanitary napkin 10 between the small grooves 15d is reduced.3Thickness T at the portion where no groove is formed2    The ratio T to3/ T2Is preferably from 0.2 to 0.8, more preferably from 0.3 to 0.6, in view of the effect of blocking the body fluid and the feeling of wearing.
Further, the thickness T of the portion of the sanitary napkin 10 where the small groove 15d is formed is T.1Thickness T between the small grooves 15d3The ratio T to1/ T3    Is preferably from 0.1 to 0.8, more preferably from 0.3 to 0.7, in view of the effect of blocking the body fluid and the feeling of wearing.
The groove processing is performed by pressing an embossing roll having a rhombus-shaped embossed convex portion at a predetermined temperature on a sanitary napkin having no groove in a known manner from the skin contact surface side to heat and compress the sanitary napkin in the thickness direction. Things.
[0017]
The pair of front grooves 16, 16 are formed symmetrically in a convex arc toward the inside in the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10 in plan view. The distance W between the innermost portions of these front grooves 16, 16 in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10.1Is 20 to 50 mm, and the distance W between the outermost portions of the rear groove 15 in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10 is W2Is shorter than
The pair of front grooves 16 are formed by the same groove processing as the rear groove 15.
The front grooves 16, 16 are provided one by one at the front ends of the two side portions 15c, 15c of the rear groove 15, and the front grooves 16, 16 and the rear groove 15 are formed into a single groove. Is formed.
A preferred depth D of the front grooves 16, 16; a ratio of a thickness of the sanitary napkin at a portion where the front grooves 16, 16 are formed to a thickness of the sanitary napkin at a portion where no groove is formed; The preferred groove processing method is the same as that for the rear groove 15 described above.
[0018]
Absorbing section A can be formed using pulp, paper, nonwoven fabric, or a superabsorbent polymer conventionally used for forming an absorbing section of an absorbent article, but contains thermoplastic fibers. However, this is preferable in that the rear groove 15 and the front grooves 16, 16 are formed and held in a more stable state.
[0019]
When the thermoplastic fibers are bonded to each other in the absorbent sheet 13, the thermoplastic fibers keep the shape of the absorbent sheet 13 stable when absorbing body fluid, and a preferable mounting form of the sanitary napkin 10 is achieved. It is preferable to maintain and restore the original state when the pressure is released, and to keep the sanitary napkin 1 stable without twisting.
The thermoplastic fiber is not particularly limited as long as the fibers adhere to each other by heating, and specific examples thereof include polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester fiber, polyethylene-polyester composite fiber, and polypropylene-polyester composite fiber. Is preferably used. Further, polyvinyl alcohol fibers or the like in which the fibers are bonded to each other by dissolving in hot water and drying can also be preferably used.
[0020]
The absorbent sheet 13 may be formed of only the thermoplastic fiber, but may be a mixture of a hydrophilic fiber such as flap pulp or rayon, or a known superabsorbent polymer. The mixing amount of the thermoplastic fibers when these are mixed and used is preferably 1 to 30% by weight based on the entire absorbent sheet 13.
[0021]
The sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment is mounted and used in the same manner as a conventional normal sanitary napkin with the excretory part abutment part 10a arranged in the crotch.
In the mounted state, a force in the width direction is applied to the excretory portion abutment portion 10a of the sanitary napkin 10 from the side, and the excretion portion abutment portion 10a is bent in the front grooves 16, 16 and The space between the 16 portions has an arch-shaped cross section protruding toward the skin contact surface P side, and is brought into contact with the wearer's crotch while being fitted well.
Then, the bodily fluid from the wearer is excreted in the central part of the excretion part abutment part 10a.
[0022]
The excreted body fluid is absorbed into the absorbent sheet 13 while moving on the skin contact surface P from the central portion of the excretion part contact portion 10a, and is diffused outward.
Then, the bodily fluid that has moved on the skin contact surface P and reached the front groove 16 temporarily stays in the front grooves 16, 16 and is absorbed and retained by the absorbent sheet 13 from the front grooves 16, 16 through the topsheet 12. . The body fluid that has not been absorbed by the absorbent sheet 13 is suppressed from spreading in the width direction by the front grooves 16, 16 and moves and spreads in the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10, and particularly moves backward when supine.
In addition, the bodily fluid that has shifted from the central portion of the excretion part abutment portion 10a on the skin abutment surface P and has reached the rear groove 15 directly or along the front grooves 16, 16 temporarily stays in the rear groove 15, The absorbent sheet 13 absorbs and holds the absorbent sheet 13 from the rear groove 15 through the topsheet 12. When the body fluid that has reached the rear groove 15 is large or when the wearer's movement is severe, or when the body fluid moves at a high speed on the top sheet, some body fluid overflows from the rear groove 15, Further behind the sanitary napkin 10, it is absorbed and held by the absorbent sheet 13 through the topsheet 12.
When the bodily fluids that migrate through the absorbing section A reach the front grooves 16, 16 and the rear groove 15, the body fluids are moved outward from the front grooves 16, 16 and the rear groove 15 by the front grooves 16, 16 and the rear groove 15. Is prevented, and is absorbed and held by the absorbent sheet 13 around the front grooves 16, 16 and the rear groove 15.
[0023]
As described above, according to the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, the pair of front grooves 16, 16 is formed in the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10 on the skin contact surface P of the excretory contact portion 10a. The widthwise movement of the bodily fluid on the skin contact surface P and in the absorbing portion A is prevented by the front grooves 16, 16 and lateral leakage is prevented. In addition, the movement of the body fluid to the rear portion 10b is favorably promoted in the supine position, and the lateral leakage of the body fluid is favorably prevented even in the supine position.
According to the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, the pair of front grooves 16, 16 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10 on the skin contact surface P of the excretory part contact portion 10a. At times, the excretory part abutment part 10a has an arch-shaped cross section andGThen, the excreted bodily fluid is reliably absorbed from the excretory portion abutting portion 10a, and the amount of bodily fluid reaching the front grooves 16, 16 and the rear groove 15 is suppressed.
According to the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, the distance W between the innermost portions of the pair of front grooves 16 in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10.1Is the distance W between the outermost portions of the rear groove 15 in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10.TwoAs a result, the body fluid, which has been prevented from shifting in the width direction in the front grooves 16, is reliably guided to the rear groove 15, and the rear groove 15 can reliably prevent rear leakage.
[0024]
Further, according to the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, the front grooves 16, 16 are viewed from above.soThe protrusion W is formed symmetrically in the shape of a left-right symmetrical arc toward the inner side in the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10, and the distance W between the innermost portions of these front grooves 16, 16 in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10.1Is 20 to 50 mm, so that the excretion part abutment part 10a fits the wearer particularly well when worn, and the excreted body fluid is more reliably absorbed from the excretion part abutment part 10a and the front grooves 16, 16 are provided. And the amount of body fluid reaching the rear groove 15 can be further reduced.
Further, according to the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, the distance W between the innermost portions in the width direction of the front grooves 16, 16 is determined.1Is set to 20 to 50 mm, and the absorbent portion A is arranged outside the front grooves 16, 16 in the width direction, so that the body fluid overflowing from the front grooves 16, 16 is on both side edges along the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10. Before reaching the part, it is absorbed by the absorption part A, and side leakage is avoided.
[0025]
According to the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, the rear part 15b of the rear groove 15 is formed in the rear part 10b in the width direction of the sanitary napkin 10, so that it is on the skin contact surface P and in the absorbent part A. Of the body fluid in the longitudinal direction is prevented by the rear portion 15b of the rear groove 15, and rear leakage is prevented.
According to the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, since the distance L between the rearmost portion 15a of the rear groove 15 and the rear end of the absorbing portion A is 10 to 50 mm, the body fluid overflowing from the rear groove 15 is sanitary. Before reaching the rear end of the napkin 10, it is absorbed by the absorbing portion A, and the back leakage is avoided.
[0026]
According to the sanitary napkin 10 of the present embodiment, the side portions 15c, 15c of the rear groove 15 also prevent lateral leakage at the rear portion 10b.
