ァクシミリ装置に送信する通信手段とを有するファクシ
ミリ装置において、前記第１の記憶部からのデータがあ
らかじめ設定した時間途切れたとき前記通信手段を介し

制御部２に入り、通信が始まる。このとき、画面蓄積部
３は、制御部２からの転送タイミングＯに従ってイメー
ジデータＰを転送する。イメージデータＰは制御部２を
経て、転送タイミングｉに従ってイメージデータＣとし
て通信制御部４に送られる。通信制御部４は転送タイミ
ングｉによりイメージデータＣを引き取り、変調などの
処理をした後、送信データ信号ｄとして回線部を介して
相手ファクシミリにデータが送信される。また、制御部
２においては、蓄積部１からプリントデータが転送され
ているか否かを常時監視し転送が途切れた場合、中断時
間計測開始信号ｆを時間計測部５へ出力する。時間計測
部５は設定された規定時間をカウントし、規定時間内に
データ転送が再開されない場合、計測終了信号ｅを制御
部２へ出力する。制御部２は通信終了信号ｊを通信制御
部４へ出力する。通信制御部４はこれにより通信を終了
する。また、外部装置からのデータ転送が再開された場
合、引き続きデータ蓄積及びイメージ展開を行い送信す
