2. Description of the Related Art In addition to touch switches for various electric appliances such as microwave ovens and electronic jars, touch switches for various office automation equipment, communication equipment, etc., in which a decorative film is attached to the surface of a molded product having through holes It may be used. FIG. 7 is a sectional view of a touch switch showing an example thereof, 1 is a through hole, 2 is a molded product, 3 is a decorative film, and 4 is a tact switch. Since the touch switch has a flexible decorative film, the tact switch 4 provided below the touch switch can be operated by pressing the through hole 1 of the molded product 2 with a finger or the like.

However, the above-mentioned method for producing a molded article with a decorative film has the following drawbacks, and it cannot be said to be satisfactory. (A) Since the decorative film is manually attached, it is difficult to accurately attach the decorative film at a predetermined position, and the positional deviation easily occurs. (b) Since the decorative film is attached using an adhesive, it may peel off during use. (c) Since each film is manually attached,
Manufacture requires time and workability is poor.

This molding simultaneous insert method is a method for forming a decorative film accurately positioned at a predetermined position inside the mold.
This is a method in which the surface of the molded product is fused at the same time as the molding of the molded product. Therefore, by using this method, it is possible to solve all of the above-mentioned drawbacks, and it becomes possible to attach the decorative film to the predetermined position of the molded product accurately, firmly and with good workability.

However, it has been found that the following problems newly arise when the decorative film is fused on the surface of a molded product having a through hole by using the molding simultaneous insert method. That is, when the decorative film is fused to the through-hole portion of the molded product having the through-hole at the same time when the molded product is molded, resin shrinkage of the molded product, that is, molding resin is molded (see FIG. 4) from the mold. Since the molded product becomes smaller than the mold size when taken out and allowed to cool in the air, the decorative film fused to the through hole sags (see FIG. 5).

The present invention will be described in more detail below. In the present invention, the decorative film is stretched more than the resin shrinkage of the molding resin during molding, and the decorative film is fused to the through-hole portion on the surface of the molded product at the same time when the molded product is molded.

As the decorative film, it is preferable to use the same film as that used in the ordinary simultaneous molding and inserting method. For example, a base sheet 31 such as a plastics film on which a pattern layer 32, an adhesive layer 33 and the like are sequentially laminated can be used (see FIG. 6).

For example, the mold is a molded product (see FIGS. 1 and 2) having a shape having a convex portion 5 or a concave portion around the surface where the through hole 1 of the molded product 2 and the decorative film 3 are in contact with each other. You should be able to do it. The convex portion or the concave portion of this mold has a function of stretching the decorative film. Further, the shape of the convex portion or the concave portion is, of course,
Since it is expressed as the outer shape of the obtained molded product, it is necessary to design in consideration of the design effect.

The shape of the convex portion or the concave portion of the mold is, according to the consideration of the present inventors and many experimental results, a height a and a width b satisfying the following equations (1) to (5). Those of 1 and b 2 are suitable for the purpose of the present invention. The length of the decorative film in the convex portion or the concave portion when the mold is closed before molding is L 1 +2 (a 2 + b 1 2 ) 1/2 . The length of the decorative film is L 1 +2 (a + b 1 ) because the decorative film is formed along the shape of the protrusions or recesses due to the resin filling during molding. Thus, elongation of the decorative film at the time of molding, 2 - the {a + b 1 (a 2 + b 1 2) 1/2}.

On the other hand, the molding shrinkage amount in the through hole of the molded product after molding is L 1 C. Therefore, in order to stretch the decorative film beyond the amount of molding shrinkage, it is necessary to satisfy the condition of L 1 C <2 {a + b 1 − (a 2 + b 1 2 ) 1/2 } (1). .

Similarly in the lateral direction, L 2 C <2 {a + b 2 − (a 2 + b 2 2 ) 1/2 } (2) Also, a, b 1 and b 2 are practically 5 mm. Since it is desirable that it is less than or equal to 0 <a ≦ 5 (mm) …… (3) 0 <b 1 ≦ 5 (mm) …… (4) 0 <b 2 ≦ 5 (mm) …… (5) It is necessary to meet the conditions.
