Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a technique for notifying an event that has occurred in connection with a network service.
In Internet services such as social network systems (SNS) and weblogs, when receiving a new message to your management site or receiving a new comment, it has a function to notify the user of an event using e-mail There are many things.
In an information terminal (client) having a limited display area such as a mobile phone, a single window system is often adopted. In such a client, when an event notification mail or other mail is transmitted while accessing a site with a Web browser, a mail display window is displayed each time, and the site window display is interrupted.
The present invention has been made in view of such a problem, and an object of the present invention is to transmit a notification of necessity of distribution in an Internet service at an appropriate timing.
The present invention relates to an event notification device used in a network service server that provides or updates various contents including contents managed individually for each user in response to access from one or a plurality of clients including a client used by the user. About.
In this device, an event occurrence detection unit that detects an event that occurs in response to an access from a client to specific content managed by a specific user, and the event occurrence detection unit detects the occurrence of an event. In response, a notification unit that distributes an event occurrence notification indicating that an event has occurred to a specific client used by a specific user, and an event occurrence detection unit that identifies an event occurrence An access determination unit that determines whether or not a client of the network is currently accessing content provided by the network service server, and at least access in response to the determination that the access determination unit is currently accessing the content from a specific client The decision part accesses content from a specific client. Comprising until it is determined that no longer, and the notification control unit that controls so as to suspend the delivery of an event occurrence notification by notifying unit.
According to the present invention, when an event occurs in content managed by a specific user, a notification indicating that the event has occurred is distributed to a specific client used by the user. If various contents are being accessed, delivery of the notification is suspended at least until the access is completed.
In this way, even if the client is a single window system, the notification is not displayed during the display of the content, and the display of the content is not hindered.
The notification control unit generates a single event that indicates a plurality of events that occur between at least when the access determination unit determines that the content is accessed from a specific client until it is determined that the content is no longer accessed The notification unit may be controlled to distribute the notification.
In this way, multiple events occur while notification delivery is suspended, multiple notifications are delivered at once after the access to the content is completed, and the user is troublesome to browse each one individually. There is no.
In response to determining that the access determination unit is currently accessing the content from a specific client, the access determination unit further includes a type detection unit that detects the type of the specific client, and the notification control unit includes the specific detection unit detected by the type detection unit. Based on the type of client, it is determined whether or not it is necessary to hold the distribution of the event occurrence notification to the specific client, and at least the access determination unit according to the determination that the distribution of the event occurrence notification to the specific client is necessary. Until it is determined that the content is no longer accessed from the client, it may be controlled to suspend the delivery of the event occurrence notification by the notification unit.
Depending on the type of client, such as a personal computer or PDA that can display a multi-window, the display of the content may not be hindered even if a notification is distributed during access to the content. Therefore, it is determined whether or not the client is a type of client that needs to hold the distribution, and the distribution is held if necessary.
The notification control unit performs control so as to immediately execute distribution of the event occurrence notification by the notification unit in response to determining that it is not necessary to hold the distribution of the event occurrence notification to a specific client.
That is, if it is determined that the client does not need to hold the distribution, the notification is immediately distributed even when the content is being accessed.
A distribution hold rule setting unit for setting a distribution hold rule for an event occurrence notification for a specific client is further provided, and the notification control unit responds when the access determination unit determines that content is currently being accessed from a specific client. The delivery of the event occurrence notification may be suspended to a specific client in accordance with the rules set by the delivery rule setting unit.
When distributing a suspended notification, for example, it is distributed only during a time zone arbitrarily designated by the user, or forwarded to a terminal arbitrarily designated by the user (a terminal not in content access is preferable) By doing so, it is possible for the user to avoid the time zone when the user does not want to receive the delivery, or to view the content immediately on another terminal that is not accessing the content, which is convenient for the user.
The present invention relates to an event notification system including a network service server that provides or updates various contents including contents managed individually for each user in response to access from one or a plurality of clients including a client used by the user. .
In this system, an event occurrence detection unit that detects an event that occurs in response to an access from a client to specific content managed by a specific user, and the event occurrence detection unit detects the occurrence of an event. Accordingly, an access determination unit that determines whether or not a specific client used by a specific user is currently accessing the content provided by the network service server, and the access determination unit currently accesses the content from the specific client. If it is determined that the event has occurred, a link for transitioning to the detailed content indicating the details of the event is embedded in the content currently accessed by the specific client, and the detailed content indicating the details of the event that has occurred is created. A service service Bas, it transmits the specific content with embedded links to a particular client, and transmits the detailed content created content creation unit in response to the link from a particular client is specified for a particular client.
In this way, it is possible to transition from content currently accessed by the client to content indicating details of event occurrence by specifying a link, and to know details of event occurrence without interrupting access to the content.
An event notification method according to the present invention provides a network service server that provides or updates various contents including contents managed individually for each user according to access from one or a plurality of clients including a client used by the user. Used.
This method includes a step of detecting an event that occurs in response to access from a client to specific content managed by a specific user, and a specific user in response to detecting the occurrence of the event. Distributing an event occurrence notification indicating that an event has occurred to a specific client used by the client, and in response to detecting the occurrence of the event, the specific client currently accesses content provided by the network service server. Event generation by the notification unit at least until it is determined that the content is no longer accessed by a specific client in response to determining that the content is currently being accessed from a specific client Control delivery of notifications on hold Including the step, the.
