Abstract
【解決手段】患者の血管系の血管の易損性プラークにおける分子の機能的プロセスを可視化するための光コヒーレンス断層画像化(OCT)カテーテルを用いた画像化方法において、血管系内へ造影剤を血管内注入した後、かつ易損性プラークを有する血管内へ画像化OCTカテーテルを血管内挿入した後に、光放出および光吸収を行なうOCTカテーテルヘッドが連続制御されて易損性プラークに沿って移動する際に、造影剤でマークされた易損性プラークのOCT画像が作成され、易損性プラークの位置測定およびそれにともなう挿入の位置測定が同一の造影剤の使用下で先行の非侵襲磁気共鳴断層撮影法によって行なわれる。

図2はカテーテルを基礎とするOCT方法の技術的装置を概略的に示し、
図3は健全な血管の2次元OCT画像を示し、
図4は初期段階の冠動脈硬化症(左)および易損性プラークを有する進行した冠動脈硬化症(右)を概略的に示す。
と、検査すべき病原領域(例えば易損性プラーク)における粒子濃度との比較によって、そこに存在するマクロファージ、従って病気の段階が推定される。それゆえ、造影剤に基づくマクロファージの可視化によって、OCTによる易損性プラークの診断上の評価が明白に簡単化される。

Claims (3)
- 患者の血管系の血管の易損性プラークにおける分子の機能的プロセスを可視化するための光コヒーレンス断層画像化(OCT)カテーテルを用いた画像化方法において、血管系内へ造影剤を血管内注入した後、かつ易損性プラークを有する血管内へ画像化OCTカテーテルを血管内挿入した後に、光放出および光吸収を行なうOCTカテーテルヘッドが連続制御されて易損性プラークに沿って移動する際に、造影剤でマークされた易損性プラークのOCT画像が作成され、易損性プラークの位置測定およびそれにともなう挿入の位置測定が同一の造影剤の使用下で先行の非侵襲磁気共鳴断層撮影法によって行なわれることを特徴とする光コヒーレンス断層画像化を基礎とする画像化方法。
- 造影剤は常磁性酸化鉄粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 健全な血管部分における造影剤濃度と易損性プラークにおける造影剤濃度との比較によってマクロファージの定量化が行なわれることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の方法。
