そこで、本発明者は、トイレ入口に、近赤外線領域で、検出感度に波長依存性がない焦電型赤外線センサーを用いた赤外線遮断検知装置を設けて、トイレ入口における人体の出入りを検知すると共に、トイレ内に赤外線人体検知装置を設けてトイレ内の人体を検知し、2重に人体を検知することにより、動物による誤動作やドアロックの有無による誤動作を防止できることを見出し、さらに、カーテン引き等によるドアなしの場合にも人体の出入りに適用できる本発明装置を完成した。
また、本発明者は、入室初期起動タイマーと、長時間滞在監視タイマーと、長時間静止監視タイマーとを設けることにより、トイレ内の人体の動静を明確に把握することに成功した。

さらにまた、本発明トイレ情報システムは、上記課題を達成するため、図示するように、赤外線人体検知装置の動作により長時間滞在監視タイマーが動作すると共に、静止監視タイマーが動作し、トイレ内の人体の動き乃至移動しているときは、静止監視タイマーがリセットし、トイレ内の人体が静止したときは、静止監視タイマーが動作して、人体の一定時間の静止状態が続いたとき非常通報できるようにしたものである。

本発明の実施の形態が図1、図2及び図3に示されている。
本発明トイレ情報システムは、図1及び図2に示すように、トイレ入口101の赤外線遮断検知装置10と、トイレ入室初期起動タイマー11と、トイレ内の赤外線人体検知装置20と、長時間滞在監視タイマー21と、長時間静止監視タイマー22と、長時間滞在の監視ブザー31と、長時間静止監視ブザー32とを主構成に配置したものである。
本発明実施例において、トイレ入口101を人物が通過する毎に赤外線遮断検知装置10により入室初期起動タイマー11のセット、リセットが行われ、トイレ内に人物が滞在の状態では、入口の赤外線遮断検知装置10のセンサーによって人物を感知した後、監視スタンバイ状態となり、この状態でトイレ100内の赤外線人体検知装置20のセンサーが動作することによって監視が開始される。また、誤動作防止を図るため、トイレ入室初期起動タイマー11の設定時限後に赤外線人体検知装置20のセンサーが動作した時点から監視が開始される。上記タイマー11は約1〜180秒の間で調整可能とした。すなわち、タイマー11の設定時限後に赤外線人体検知装置20のセンサーが動作するとトイレ100内の滞在監視の開始となる。

一度滞在検出が開始されると、トイレ入口101の赤外線遮断検知装置10のセンサーが動作しない限り、長時間滞在監視タイマー21の設定時限後には長時間不法滞在となる。上記タイマー21は約2分〜60分の間で調整可能とした。
上記長時間滞在監視タイマー21の動作中にトイレ内で人物の動き(移動)により、赤外線人体検知装置20のセンサーが動作すれば、長時間静止監視タイマー22がその都度リセットされ滞在者が健全であることが判断できる。
長時間滞在監視タイマー21の動作中に、内部で人物が完全静止(倒れた場合、気を失った場合など)した場合は、長時間静止監視タイマー22の設定時限後に非常警報ブザー32を出力する。上記長時間静止監視タイマーは約2分〜60分の間で調整可能とした。
警報ブザー32のリセットは、警報解除スィッチ(図示しない)をロックするか、入口の赤外線遮断検知装置10のセンサーを通過することでリセットされる。
