Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at compactification of male and female same-body connector. SOLUTION: A connector 1 and connector 31 are mutually male and female same-body connector. The connector 1 is fixed to a substrate 41, the connector 31 is fixed to a substrate 42, and the connector 31 is made to approach the connector 1. Then at first a projection 2a of an insulator 2 of the connector 31 is advanced between respective pair of socket contact 13 of the connector 1. Followingly the connector 31 is made to approach further to the connector 1, respective joint part 23b of pin contact 23 of respective pair of the connector 31 is contacted with respective joint part 13a of respective pair socket contact of the connector 1. As for the present connector, because a socket connector part and a pin connector part are arranged in series to a direction orthogonal to the direction to which respective pair of socket contact are opposing, the thickness of the connector becomes thinner. In addition, because a surrounding insulator 2 of the respective joint part of the respective pair of pin contact is lacking, the connector becomes more compact.
