2. Description of the Related Art In electronic timepieces and other portable electronic devices, various methods have been conventionally proposed as measures for extending the life of a power supply. For example, in the technique disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 52-84435, a timepiece body has a built-in secondary battery,
By installing a thermoelectric generator on the watch band, the life of the power supply is extended and the number of battery replacements is reduced. However, if the secondary battery is housed in the timepiece body, the timepiece body becomes large. For this reason, in the electronic timepiece disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1-73916, a secondary battery is built in the watch band, and the endpiece is connected to the timepiece body. In addition to this,
In the technique described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 94982, a large-capacity battery is stored in an end piece of a watch band, thereby suppressing an increase in the size of the watch main body.

As described above, in a conventional electronic timepiece, a secondary battery is hermetically housed in order to prevent intrusion of dust and sweat. However, depending on the polar material used in a secondary battery such as a lithium battery, a small amount of gas may be generated during charging. For this reason, there is a problem that gas is accumulated in a portion housing the secondary battery, and the band may be deformed. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a band structure of a portable electronic device that can effectively prevent deformation due to gas accumulation.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS The present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited by the embodiment. FIG. 1 is a schematic structural diagram showing a band structure of an electronic timepiece according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1A is a plan view, and FIG. 1B is a side view. The electronic timepiece body is not shown.
The band structure 100 has a structure in which a housing portion 3 for housing a secondary battery 2 is provided in a central portion of a resin band 1. The secondary battery 2 is, for example, a lithium ion battery, a nickel hydride battery, a nickel cadmium battery, or the like. The housing 3 is provided with a charging terminal 4 for charging the secondary battery 2. Further, on the opposite side of the charging terminal 4, an output terminal 5 for supplying electric power to an external portable electronic device is provided. A valve 6 for removing gas accumulated in the housing 3 is provided on a side of the housing 3.

FIG. 2 is a sectional view showing the structure of the vent valve shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 1A, the valve 6 is a housing made of a soft resin such as polyurethane.
3 includes a gas introduction unit 61 and a valve chamber 60, a hard ball 62 for closing the gas introduction unit 61, and a spring 63. Normally, as shown in FIG. 7A, a hard ball 62 housed in a valve chamber 60 closes the gas introduction portion 61 by a repulsive force of a spring 63 to prevent sweat or water from entering. When the gas accumulates in the accommodating portion 3 and becomes high pressure, the hard sphere 62 is moved by the pressure and discharged to the outside through the valve chamber 60 through the outlet 66 as shown in FIG. The spring 63 is adjusted to be bent at a predetermined gas pressure.

FIG. 3 is a sectional view of a second embodiment showing another valve structure. As shown in FIG. 2, a gas introduction unit 61 and a valve chamber 60 formed in a housing portion 3 made of a soft resin such as polyurethane, a hard ball 62 for closing the gas introduction unit 61,
However, instead of the spring 63, a spring portion 64 is integrally formed from a part of the housing portion 3. Normally, as shown in FIG. 3A, the hard ball 62 housed in the valve chamber 60 closes the gas introduction portion 61 by the repulsive force of the spring portion 64 to prevent permeation of sweat and water. FIG. 4 is a sectional view of Embodiment 3 showing another simpler valve structure. Utilizing that the housing portion 3 is made of a soft resin such as polyurethane, the gas introduction portion 6
An elastic valve 65 having a wedge-shaped portion 1 may be formed outward. In this case, when the outside pressure and the inside pressure are the same, the elastic valve 65 is closed by the elasticity of the rubber. When gas is generated and the inside becomes high pressure, the tip of the wedge opens to release the gas to the outside. The structure of the valve is not limited to those shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, but a simple structure is preferable. For example, gas may be manually vented using a gate valve, a cock, a diaphragm valve, or the like instead of the above-described check valve.
