Abstract

896,611. Walls, roofs. FURRER, J. July 4, 1958, No. 21547/58. Class 20(4) A panelled structure has the longitudinal border of panels 1a provided with interengaging profiles 2a, 3 and a box-like chamber formed adjacent the supporting structure 5 at least one wall of the chamber being formed exclusively by a rim portion 4 of the adjacent panel. Securing means 7 are also provided. Member 9 may be flush with the main surface 1a of the panel and in an embodiment (not shown) the panels are arranged to be alternately flush and proud, the flush panels being reversed to the supporting structure. In a further embodiment (not shown) the panels have a 90 degrees bend in them to form a return wall &c. Sheet metal panels 16 (Fig. 3) with screening clips 18 are also disclosed.
