Abstract
836,878. Flexible hoses. HUBENET, W. M. and HANSSENS, G. J. J. July 2, 1956 [April 4, 1955; Oct. 21, 1955], Nos. 9832/55 and 20482/56. Divided out of 836,879. Class 99(2). A hose pipe capable of being rolled flat like a fire hose comprises a fabric tube 11 knitted or woven from synthetic fibres of a fibre-forming polyester or polyamide or a mixture thereof with or without up to 50% of other fibres, and a thermoplastic polyvinyl lining tube 10 bonded to the fabric tube. The method of and apparatus for making the hose is as described in Specification 836,879. Specification 737,216 also is referred to.
