[Also in Group XL (c)] In a transmitter-receiver system (see Group XL (c)) a frequency f is fed to the buncher resonator 257 of a klystron and at the same time the cathode potential is modulated at the much lower frequency 15 Mc/s. from source 268. The output in buncher resonator 258 contains products of the form f + 15, f + 30, &c. Specifications 523,712, 530,869, [Group XXXVII], 531,067, 648,881 and 670,551, [both in Group XL (c)], are referred to.
