Abstract
628,743. Supply meters. ELECTRO-NORM AKT.-GES. May 29, 1946, No. 16346. Convention date, Feb. 28. [Class 37] An electric motor meter in which the flux passed through premagnetized iron has the movable part of the meter comprised by a voltage coil mounted on iron, the stationary part comprising a current coil 6a, 6b, also being on iron which is premagnetized by at least one coil 5a, 5b, having a parallel-connected condenser 12. The stator 1 has four poles provided with the current coils 6a, 6b, the limbs of the stator carrying the coils 5a, 5b, the winding of a drum armature 2 forming the voltage coil. In a modification, the armature is a drum armature sector, the winding of which is connected through an oscillatory mercury switch which causes the armature to oscillate. The condenser 12, with the coils 5a, 5b, forms a parallel resonance circuit tuned to the mains frequency.
