Abstract
615,932. Electrically heated cooking vessels. SAFEWAY HEAT ELEMENTS, Inc. June 21, 1946, No. 18693. Convention date, Dec. 22, 1945. [Class 39 (iii)] A closed chamber 11 formed in the bottom wall of a glass cooking vessel 10 and extending upwardly along one side thereof contains a flexible woven electric heating element 15 embedded in loosely packed powdered insulation 14, e.g., magnesium oxide powder. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a metal vessel with a container on its base welded to the lower side walls of the vessel, the container carrying a woven heating element surrounded by loosely packed glass wool. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
